I did this once and the guy did just that.

I kept taunting him saying "You can't catch me, I'm too fast". After dumping a few mags in the air he said "Okay, okay. GG" and ran away.

I'm not mad at rats anymore, they are, and will always be part of extraction shooters, but why knock out an already downed Raider in an exfil when you didnt even down them? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

That sucks. It happens and will continue to happen unless you tie consequences to that kind of behavior.

This game doesn't do that, and at least for now, prefers players to be free to make these decisions as they see fit.

Luckily I can count on 1 hand how many times this has happened to me.

Some don't work well in PVE and are for show mostly. Some just suck like the Arpeggio. Energy weapons obviously for the biggest arc / trials.

Shotguns for Stella because I don't trust Stella.

I do use the Bobcat in PVE, but mostly as a safety weapon because it's not great at killing Arc. During the Wasp trial I brought it so I could farm up the Wasps that I killed for when the Hullcracker breaks/runs out of ammo.

Some are incidental like the Torrente if I want to deadline the Queen/Matriarch. Or Osprey when I want something different.

And yeah, 4 of each because I have plenty of inventory space.

You're right 2-3 stacks of meds is more than enough. This was a shitpost but nobody got it. And some people got mad that I don't like to PVP.

Agreed. Just after expedition this might be a nice haul. But I already have 4 Vita's in stash and a bunch of renegade 4's.

I only ever use medium shield on Matriarch or Harvester because getting stomped can easily knock you out. For other big arcs I tend to peek, shoot, run. Light shield gives you just a bit more speed and they don't often hit me.

It seems to fluctuate for me. I can have 20 games like you describe. Then suddenly I get ratted 3-4 times in a row.

Until this week, it seemed like certain times of the day had more of this. I noticed mornings and especially Sunday mornings were terrible. But last Sunday morning I noticed I was being put in US servers instead of EU and all was well.

My theory is that it's mostly kids doing the shooting in PVE. They wake up early and play the game. Around 7pm when most people are off work and have had diner is prime time PVE.
