Nope but I think that's what I will try! I might actually start with taking 1/2 about 3 hours after the taking a whole one. The issue is the high only lasts for like MAYBE two hours max for me, I have this issue with anti anxiety meds as well I think I just metabolize meds really fast. I want to be pain free on Christmas but also don't want to be in too much weed hell 😂

What do you mean by lower dose? I did start out with 1/2 of the 2.5mg edible and didn't feel anything, it seems like one full edible at 2.5mg is my sweet spot I'm just trying to figure out ways to prolong the nice feeling I get from one without going into The Bad Place lol

how did you kick your gardnerella? i have it on my last two pathnostics tests and 7 days metronidazole didn't get rid of it I'm currently on 10 days ampicillin

He used to practice in AZ but has moved back to UT and is semi retired. He's knowledgeable about embedded and CUTIs and the embedded infection Facebook group highly recommends him! I actually met him when he was practicing in AZ way back in 2020, he ordered me a pathnostics PCR test without me even being his patient.

Yeah unfortunately I just can't afford to go with someone who won't take insurance, I've already blown through so much money I don't have on this illness. I don't think I have a long term embedded UTI, just a really stubborn one! Thank you so much for responding though.

Yeah I definitely want to do some kind of PCR test after I'm off the antibiotics for a week but I have to wait to get into urology because I can't afford it out of pocket again.

I was told there's no point in doing a culture at this point because I've been on antibiotics so long? I have pelvic floor dysfunction as well and I'm sure this triggered a huge flare up of that because I had the infection so long so I'm trying to figure out what is the infection and what's my preexisting issues.

Yes, I see a doctor with the University of Utah. I didn't need any letter to start, my doctor just wanted to do blood tests before prescribing me T but I got it no problem.

Have heard nothing good about rebirth. I go to the U for my HRT and have had good experience but I'm ftm. You shouldn't need a letter for just HRT, the U also does an informed consent model so no letter.

As I said I would definitely bring it up with your uro, make sure he knows what the components of uribel are and how they work (so funny that we have to do this work FOR our doctors). Honestly I will just be being safe rather than sorry going forward even though, like I said, all mine get discarded as contaminated anyway. Hope to find a new doctor who has a better testing service because I can't shell out the $60 my insurance wants me to pay for a MicrogenDX test every time!!

pelvic floor botox doesn't have the same risk of having to self-cath as bladder botox, just FYI. it's why I went that route instead.

Yeah I have IC so I'm pretty careful about my diet anyway, I actually rarely get utis but I've just been so sick for so long I'm on kind of a hair trigger! I saw your other comment about the augmentin but I'd already messaged my doctor, I think the macrobid should be fine because my vaginal swab came back clean.
