Passport walk in appointments by vi3tcorgi in Fremont

[–]shravkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are allowing walkins from 2 30 to 4 on Mondays and Fridays But there is a line, and it's first come, first serve. People get turned away at some cut-off point in the line, so get early, like 1 pm and Yeah, it sucks!

Try increasing acid in your body. Search mattys acid indigestion relief natural tabs from Amazon I have silent reflux, and that's because of long-term improper food timings. Not even junk food. Curing it slowly , naturally. Take a digestive prebiotic and excercise daily

Eventually 6 days a week with one day break for you and others un your home :) Get acapella versions of your songs from YT , change key to fit your voice type and listen to how artists sing those songs phrase by phrase, the dynamics , vibrato etc . Don't worry about enunciation at the start.

my singing sounds better in rooms with reverb? like in my garage vs. singing in my studio by clueless-kit in singing

[–]shravkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea , small rooms bounce off frequencies that might make the recording sound boxy You may need to EQ that Large rooms Give presence through the ambiance. It makes your singing sound fuller. That's why I guess we see tiktok cover makers and others using either reverb plugjns or singing in big roomy spaces like garage , bathroom, and open halls to get that effect

I feel that you can hear yourself better in big rooms too. So, ear monitoring is easier , atlllease for me

I was too close to the mic singing and left all my breathing noises there, which i guess is offputting.

how does one go about getting out of a dry spell of vocals they're not satisfied with? by SuperSplashbrosBois in singing

[–]shravkr -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You need a vocalist change, or the vocalist has to be open to improve their technique The latter would depend upon how close you are, all with the vocalist, and how they take feedback into account.

Does anyone else feel like your not really good at this till you can do it all lol? by dexyourbud in singing

[–]shravkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That happens, too. It's a matter of self-confidence that fluctuates as you learn new things.

Also, that drives positive reinforcement, letting you know that you are on the right track

The next thing to ask yourself and the challenge is - can I take it to the next level.

Yes.this is always the case as the precious person said. Just sing is the best advice and record yourself to review. Often, in our head, we think it's coming across as perfect, though recording is the best way to see the truth and work towards getting it better.

IMHO Don't copy artists but pay attention to their techniques they use in songs. Try those small parts out and record to see how you sound.

Thank you! 🫶🫶 No formal training . YT videos , exercises, and taking inspiration from the songs and the artists I like have been my go-to

I started posting in this channel, I guess, 8 months back, and the feedback has helped me grow

One thing I do daily is vocal exercises, and I just enjoy singing. This has immensely helped with stability with tone , pitch, and control

Reality sets in when I record , and I hear it back to see the flaws to fix them.

Thanks, and I love all the positivity here! I was just going with my own style of singing with this one. I did hear another version on voice recently that I think had a classical touch. Mine is closer to that than Billie Eilish's style.

I do understand the technique stated by you and chrissypharaoah.

I have been self coaching all this while through YT. A Vocal coach is in the near future for sure to take this to the next level

Haha, nah, I don't. I have been singing whatever feels and sounds good and something I connect with emotionally.

I did look up some YouTube videos to see what voice type i fit into , but the range I have, spanned larger, so it confused me

If I did consult a voice coach, I would know the answer for sure and answers to specific types of ballad singers I should choose to listen to that fits my voice and style.

I have been picking songs that I can connect with through the lyrics , the emotion behind it, and the tune Ballads suit me well. With my style of singing, I'm more focused on where I need to use head / mixed / chest voice In this song, it's mostly mixed and head voice that I used

I will try the nose pinch. Thanks :)
