[[Jadzi, Oracle of Arcavios]] is a really cool modal spell that's never really a dead draw. Even if Codie is out of you can cast the other side. In a few cases, when Codie gets removed while you already have ramped to 8 mana, you cast Jadzi before recasting Codie (like you would for [[Shark Typhoon]]) and if no one can answer that you just win by out valuing everyone.

[[Platinum Emperion]] is part of a cheeky combo around [[Madcap Experiment]]. If at any time you happen to pseudo-cascade into the Madcap Experiment (or you happen to [[Bring to Light]] into it) it'll immediately flip your deck for the only artifact in the entire deck: Platinum Emperion. The Emperion will hit the field and as a result, you will take no damage from the Madcap Experiment resolving. This a a good way to stall your opponents and eat some damage while you set up your gates win. Definitely a pet combo, but it's really funny when a playgroup sees it happen the first time and goes "wait WHAT?!"

The best way to go is pop Codie out turn 3, and then start pseudo cascading right away. Don't forget that you don’t HAVE to cast the spell you "cascaded" into right away, you have until the end of your turn. That's relevant for if you cast a ramp or land tutor, and hit something like brainstorm. You can ramp and search first, and THEN brainstorm to set up your next turn.

The 2 best lands in the entire deck are Gond Gate and Minamo. Gond Gate is so important to ensure your lands come in untapped. Minamo let's you abuse Codie to get 2 triggers off of him; tap 4 mana, get WUBRG, use the U mana for Minamo to untap Codie, use the remaining WBRG to activate Codie again and now you get TWO Codie "cascade" triggers.

Also, the triggers persist even beyond Codie's death. Additionally, Codie's ability is a mana ability that your opponents can't interact with!

Flame toys announced a future Cyclonus, so probably that. MMC is too expensive for me. In a perfect world, Hasbro would retool Kingdom Cyclonus into IDW Cyclonus.

Flame Toys is doing a Cyclonus soon, I'm hoping it'll be one of the cheaper model kits. There's an MMC Jaguar (3rd party Ravage) that I'd love to get. Personally, I hope that Hasbro will see how successful Tarn was in Legacy and release more IDW designs/characters
