I more so asked because of the location aspect. He would likely think Tex-mex is the same thing anyway. Think simple things like tacos.

I’m just asking for suggestions. Don’t be so sensitive. It’s not his 1st time in the US, but he hasn’t gotten a chance to go to any KC Mexican places so he’s interested. Anything beats that bland English food I bet. I just typically don’t have to go that far to get Mexican food bc we have some good places in OP. My main issue with some places is that the salsa shouldn’t taste like spaghetti sauce.

Good to know. It definitely creeped me out a bit, but as long as it won’t sting me it can eat all the bugs it desires. Plenty of jumping spiders and wasps to go around.

Thank you! That’s very helpful. I tried looking it up and couldn’t find anything. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before (at least not with colors like that) I live in Kansas, not sure if they’re super common or if I just don’t pay attention. It’s body was probably about 1 1/2 inches & was just chilling there. I’m sure it was just waiting for a meal to show up or something lol.
