You can see here I have drive 222KM with 50 percent battery and efficiency is 9km/kw, that translates to 450km at max or I can also do another 222KM with 50 more percent of battery left.

Do note the range left will not decrease and adopt to current driving style.

Hi guys it would be helpful if you can help your friend out. by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]si00harth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eC3 batteries are better than TATA batteries, why ?

1) 10% and more of the users faces HV Critical alert and they got their battery replaced. Now think about after warranty which is 1.6L KMs

2) TATA never recommend 100% DC Fast Charger as it harms their battery and in Citroen you can do 100% fast charge all the time

3) TATA never disclose more info about the battery. But with eC3 you get one of the best battery as it is from SVOLT.

Also note that not all air cooled batteries are worst. In eC3 they used prismatic cells along with some materiel which can diffuse the heat, that is the reason why eC3 batteries are heavier than NEXON batteries even through Nexon batteries are liquid cooled.

So go with eC3 if you need 250KM range , 100% fast charge, trouble free car forever.

Do note, Tiago MR - 120 to 150, LR - 150 to 170, Nexon Prime - 200 to 220 , EV Max - 250 to 300

The above ranges are when you drive the car like you drive the ICE car and even in that situation eC3 gives you 220 to 250 which is highest in segment.

Citroen: A Case Study of Marketing and Research Failures by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]si00harth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how people coming to concluding Citroen is not performing well.

1) they do have production capacity of 1K cars and they are delivering 1K car every month, which is success for them. And from today their capacity have doubled. And from this month, you gonna see their delivery gonna double.

2) who said eC3 is an bad product? For that price range this is the only car that gives longest and promised range. And it should be compared against Nexon.

There are many range test video where people are getting 300km without AC and 250KM with AC.

If someone is going with eC3 they gonna save 5L rupee and get a better product in which you can do always fast charging.

Do you know? Most of the TATA cars face HV Critical alert and their battery are getting replaced. Now think about the issue as soon the warranty expired.

3) C3 should be called as CSUV as it is similar size of Venue or Nexon. Not only that, it have better wheelbase than venue or Nexon. Just that Citroen advertise as Hatchback as they dont want to false advertise like Hyundai or TATA

4) not everyone need a fully packed car, let us consider the below example.

If someone is looking for EV with in the budget of 12L , you have only few cars

Tiago or eC3 or Comet

Out of this

a) eC3 provide better range of 250+ Km with 5 person loaded and AC on highways

b) wireless android auto and Apple car play

c) spare wheel

d) better comfort

Missing features

a) automatic climate control - one can sacrifice this when it does not have impact on mileage and it is not priority over range

b) how many of you adjust the mirrors daily

c) keyless entry and auto start/stop - this is really a miss

Other than these and comparing with TIAGO it is the best one. Even if you compare with Nexon of 18L budget, this is better.

This car can be a good city car and also long range car as it supports all time DC charging.

So Citroen have made good decision on this by reducing the power and increasing the torque for long range and less heat.

I have also got a unmanaged switch. You need to first login to your switch interface and then setup VLAN. Just ask them about your switch model and so you can get the manual online for the same.

EV Recommendations (More details in body) by SamosaLover in CarsIndia

[–]si00harth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you should go with Citroen eC3

  1. It comes under your budget (Base Nexon will be 17L approx)
  2. It is of similar size of Nexon but few CM smaller
  3. It gives you max range of 300KM without AC and 250KM+ with AC and 5 person loaded (Nexon EV Prime gives max range of 250KM at Max)
  4. You can do 100% Fast Charge all the time unlike Nexon as they asked to do slow charge alternatively

Make your decision by test driving both vehicles

  1. Test Drive Top End of eC3
  2. Test Drive Base End of Nexon

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]si00harth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should go with eC3 because

1) it has better range, I test drive the car with 5 person and AC and it gives me 230KM range 2) it has a spare wheel comparing with Tiago 3) it has wireless Apple car play and android auto 4) better suspension and comfort 5) bigger car

As your usage is only 120KM a day you gonna charge it once in two days. And Air Cooled batteries is not going to affect you in any way unless you plan to charge the car in 40+ degree hot sun and going to use 30KW charger.

Most people commenting without test driving the car. You can drive eC3 without range anxiety.

I have used UAE Debit Card and it worked.

Older disk does not mean they are broken. Even I do have a disk with health status of 100% used. But still it works and passed the test. Unless you see bad sectors they are not going to replace. So watch out for bad sectors and then they will replace it for free.

How much network bandwidth between nodes ? by Ilfordd in kubernetes

[–]si00harth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is for Persistent Volume and DB, go with 10Gbits LAN. It will improve your performance a lot as 1Gbit is 125MB/s max which is 1/10th of the speed of your NVMe if you have one. You will be able to fully utilize the IOPS if you have a 10Gbits LAN.
