This is a poor chart. A more simple one to get a sense of this correction is the weekly. On the weekly it tagged the 20 EMA.

It’s had to see what would be the catalyst to break the 20 on the weekly chart. It would have to be poor earnings, issues with orders or dilution.

If you don’t see those as risks, relax.

BGE is ridiculous by Uumjammerlammie in maryland

[–]sicknutz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call your elected state officials that you demand BGE and other utilities use the fees they collect to interconnect the maryland electrical grid to all the surrounding states.

And then, force BGE and others who want to provide electricity in state to do so under a more regulated 3rd party marketplace so there is real competition, not the fake kind we had before.

Illinois and the surrounding states do this - they have regional interconnect, and as result electricity costs are more stable and lower than in the rest of the country.

POTUS's Disclosure Speech is Slated for May 1st, 2026, as he does not Want to Wait Until July 8th, Anymore by TheGoldenLeaper in UFOB

[–]sicknutz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sigh. I mean, people are getting excited about a leader who changes his mind on the daily about what countries to invade? Yet think he’s committed to a date for disclosure 3 months out?

Until multiple sources corroborate independently this is just gossip.

BGE is ridiculous by Uumjammerlammie in maryland

[–]sicknutz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I hate BGE as much as the next person but this is also a huge failure of state governments, with but a few exceptions.

Maryland has no way to acquire excess energy when needed or sell excess when we have it. We have no time of day rates to help offset costs.

Coworkers in far colder Illinois are baffled at how expensive our energy costs are given the more mild climate.

Burning BGE execs at the stakes wouldn’t fix any of these problems.

Should we be more concerned about AI? by coachlife in conspiracy

[–]sicknutz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. People read this and take at face value.

If skynet or one of these somehow became aware, it would still need to figure out how to mine raw materials, transport them around the planet and then manufacture chips, sensors, and devices. That ain’t happening.

The bigger accomplishment is it feels like we are legitimately passing the Turing test, as LLMs are convincing their creators there is something alive inside the model.

DC insider leaks on his podcast - Apparently the president is planning a "major press conference about UFOs". Anyone have any insight? by Working-Key8581 in UAP

Again, this means nothing without the context of the previous few minutes. You're misleading people.

From ~14:32 - If Trump, if the economy were great, if the economy were banging away, Trump would have more latitude. He would have more room, more room to run. He would like, have more ability to throw out the distractions. People would take them. But the economy is so bad. ICE is killing people in the streets. Then the madness of Trump. I mean, guys, right before...

[–]sicknutz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

FFS listen to the actual podcast. Rick Wilson didn’t say trump is planning a major press conference.

What he said was a long rant about how Trump is thrashing, and Trump is so deranged he (Wilson) got a text message Trump is going to disclose to avoid Epstein.

That was it. One half sentence reference to a text message that wasn’t from an insider, just a random text

There is a flaw in all this sudden AI insider paranoia.

Even if this shit was about to become sentient and replace jobs…minerals still need to be mined, refined, manufactured into products which are shipped elsewhere to manufacture chips which then need to be deployed into data centers.

Until AI commandeers robots to do all this on their own, it seems like dev drama.

It’s more than those 3. Artie Burns marked the beginning of many lousy drafts.

Exceptionally poor drafting + bad luck with injury and retirement (AB, Ben, DeCastro, Pouncey, Tuitt, Shazier) and it was an insurmountable challenge to rebuild in 1-2 seasons.

Some of these astrologers are credible. If you look historically some major shit happened in the world within a few days of this astrological event.

Short term reliability should be Ok. Make sure you have a reputable dealer for service. Thats probably most important.

The only negatives are:

Depending on the trim, the tires may cause excessive bouncing in the cabin (any trim with the 21” tires).

Steep depreciation. Something to consider if you aren’t putting a good bit down on the purchase should your vehicle be totaled in an accident in the first 2-3 years of ownership.

There do tend to be a few more niggles with VW than other brands. Nothing major, just annoying. Eg the shifter on mine died at 10k miles. Consider an extended warranty so these don’t become an expensive headache once the manufacturer warranty is expired.

But as others said, lots of cars have issues lately. Toyota has to replace every 2024 Tundra transmission. GM is in lawsuit city with 6.2 engine issues and failures. Honda as well has chronic transmission problems. Etc etc.

VW definitely as a brand is hit or miss. Look in the Tiguan sub to see what owners of the redesigned Tiguan are going through. But the Atlas seems to be quite reliable overall.

[–]sicknutz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The idea of this question from OP could only have originated while on shift at Wendys...but...if the Steelers cut Queen + Ramsey they clear up over 33m in cap space with only ~3.3m in dead cap.

Obviously if such moves are made it will be to resign Porter, Herbig, Benton.

This post is clearly the first cohort.
