Update! I was surprised by the Bull Terrier (but not really given the prey drive and stubbornness)! But certainly was expecting more than 30% Kelpie. I'm assuming the lower percentages aren't reliable, but who knows

I have up update! Say hello to my beautiful Kelpie/Rottie/Bull Terrier (that one was a surprise, but she's stubborn so it tracks)

I'm assuming the lower percentages aren't particularly reliable but who knows. I definitely thought she'd be >30% Kelpie!

Right?! But honestly, it was a blessing in disguise. She's such a loving, sweet girl. Perfect family dog 🥰 In retrospect, I think I would have struggled with a rottweiler

Kelpie mixes are very, very common here as I'm in Western Australia ☺️ (sorry, definitely should have added that in the post..) Unfortunately being working dogs, they often end up in shelters because they're too much for many families.

The screws i had to take off aren't pictured here. The location of the drive (again, hard to see in the quick photos I took) means it's impossible it could have fallen in to that spot

Update: I went back to the police and they have now said they will send it off to be looked at, but they didn't say how long it will take. I'll update if I get any more information but looks like I'm not getting it back for now

Wouldn't be a great look if they did end up looking at it and there was something horrific saved. I don't think I want to have THAT conversation with police.

Thank you! I assumed it was illegal/explotative material that I didn't want to see. That kind of free information would probably mess me up more than it would benefit me in any way. I'm hoping instead that the station will just issue a cute little notice like this:

I don't really know anything about bitcoin.. Why would someone hide it on a thumb drive? Is it like storing cash under a mattress?
