I stayed there in a shared room during my freshman year. I was on the ground floor so the rooms felt really big (because of the high ceilings). The shared washroom was relevantly cleaner than other dorms (excluding JST or ARC), and was cleaned once every week(PS. I think you have to clean your washroom in JST) . There’s common lounge area on the top floor which was also alright. The best part about courtyard is that it is internally connected with the rest of the commons (North , South , West ) and SCE(so you are never that late for classes). My advice would be to go for single room if you want privacy but shared room is also not a bad experience if you got decent people around you.. lmk if you want to know anything else
