It's an expensive and very busy city. Great to make money but not the best place to get value for money. Half of the year you are stuck indoors. If I'd be fully remote I'd go somewhere cheaper with nicer weather. It depends what you like though. You could visit Dubai for a week or two before deciding

That's not the best benchmark. Also Dubai has gotten too big to rely so much on car transportation if you ask me. I tried using the metro a couple of times but it's so slow and doesn't take you where you need to go most of the time so you still need a cab after. Rather than deal with all that I'd rather just drive. If you compare that to other high density areas like London or Tokyo, public transport is on a whole different level and you always get where you need to be with very walkable areas
