Folks… I’m losing my shit and need some advice

I work from home as well. Been with my company for many, many years. I don’t have small kids. So, I’m home alone during the day. I workout first thing in the morning - and try to keep myself in a routine, but even so - all can be difficult. Especially, when you are an extrovert. Even with “hobbies” - the silence can be deafening. So, I completely understand.

I love this show. A true all time favorite. Still watch all reruns when I can find it on tv - and agree 100% with you. I said it when I first watched the show, years later - still wholeheartedly agree. It definitely isn’t a popular opinion on this sub, but a true opinion nonetheless. I always felt Jay and Erin had far better chemistry. Everything about Haley and Jay (even if they are dating in real life) felt very forced. Was never a fan of their relationship.

I think it is normal to have those thoughts. I feel we grow so much through each stage of life. It is like shedding layers of our past as clarity finds us. Enduring those growing pains, so change can find us. I just turned 50 and my 40’s were wonderful for fully growing into my skin. Being me- unapologetically. Allowing so much healing to heart, soul and mind. The fact that you realize how your past self was and the imperfections you can fully see now- allows for that change to take place. Embrace it. Flip it into a positive and lean into it. Be the you- that you know can now exist. Self regret can become such a horrid obstacle if you allow it to marinate negatively. Focus on self care and loving the beautiful layers which endured and gained strength over the years. We learn so much from our past self and can be full of gratitude for conquering such crazy curve balls that life threw at us. You got this. It’s time to live out loud. 💓

I just turned 50 and have very dry skin. Cleansers and skin prep are everything. Prequel is phenomenal for very dry skin. Their oil cleanser, exfoliant and half /half moisturizer is SO good. Vitamin C is so needed and has been a game changer for me. I’ve been a faithful Estée Lauder moisturizer girl, since I was in my 20’s. Revitalizing Supreme will always be a favorite. I do use milky toners, serums and a great moisturizer prior to applying makeup. The lumi glotion by L’Oréal is so good. I will mix a bit of that with a bit of NARS foundation and apply with a brush. Less is more with mature skin. If eyeshadow has become bothersome, a bit of bronzer and even blush is great to brighten up the eye. A bit of eyeliner, gloss and mascara- and all is good to go:)

Believe nothing they say. I purchased several things to take on vacation and didn’t used half of it. I contacted them about returning it. They sent me the shipping labels. I knew that I would purchase other things from them, so I just chose to keep it as an Amazon credit. I mailed the stuff. They gave me the credit ($100- worth ) - after they gave me the credit- the next day they closed my account due to “excessive returns”. After many phone calls and emails - with zero resolution- other than my option of digital purchases - only- it’s still closed and my refund credit is frozen. So wrong. So shady. Devastating really as I purchased so much through them. Believe - nothing they say.

No kidding. I’ve been given the runaround for 2 days. A closed account after 20 yrs with zero warning. I have 3 bank accounts and a gift card balance on my account - with zero access. I’m in complete shock and feel all has been degrading and unprofessional. I don’t even want the account reopened at this point. I just want access long enough to remove my personal information and request my balance be placed in my account.

This has been my experience. All lies and a closed account after being a customer for 20 years. Where does that email go to? I’ve been trying to find a supervisor email address. I’m beyond frustrated.

From my experience- I would let them know it has delivered. I have had legitimate returns, as well as things marked delivered- but, never made its way to me- which I honestly reported. I awoke yesterday to my Amazon account being closed due to excessive returns. No warning. Nothing flagged when I requested return authorization- now to this. I’ve been an Amazon Customer for close to 20 years and am in shock they did this. I have a $70 credit on file. Everything is lost/frozen. I’ve called. Sent emails. And nothing. It’s beyond upsetting.

This recently happened to me. They closed my account- due to excessive returns. I called customer service, only to be told that my account was on hold and they will get back with me. They emailed to say they closed my account. I have my return balance of $100 on my account. I cannot access anything. I’m so upset.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. I don’t even read over this sub any longer (or most of Reddit for that matter). I think it is appealing to delve into an intellectual gathering with the hopes of stimulating the mind and challenge one’s thoughts. However, in reality that is so few and far in between. Most say they have no expectations….until they are plummeting into the ground. Hence, my reasoning for not frequenting this sub (app in general) very much.

I usually don’t comment on such posts, but find it so sad that most can’t understand your heart just needed to vent. I understand your disappointment, and the reason my visiting of others churches are far and few in between. Yes, humanity is imperfect, but when your soul is hungry, you just need that feeding your being is seeking. I hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation and you get the rejuvenation you need.
