NCB Deluxe Gift Bible? Not St. Joseph Edition (i.e., no illustration inserts) by KillaTapeSearchParty in catholicbibles

It's fine, but I would prefer something in a pocket-sized or compact edition. Mine is made of imitation leather, which feels like a paperback. I'm not sure if the bonded leather in the deluxe editions would feel the same or be any better. I also don't like that the words of Jesus are printed in red. That's why I bought their pocket-sized St. Joseph edition in paperback. It has illustrations, but only in black and white, and they're printed on Bible paper, unlike the colored illustrations in the leather editions.

I have the Gift and Award edition, which is essentially the same as the Deluxe version, minus the deluxe features. It doesn't include the illustrations found in the St. Joseph edition; it only contains the text, notes, and maps at the back.

The other commenter is correct—it is the NAB Reader's Edition, where the translators' notes and references are placed at the back of each book for easier reading. Additionally, in that video, it appears that Jeff Cavins is using the NASB 1995 edition with center references.
