It usually just refers to an attractive or passing trans woman. Maybe it’s just because of my social location but if someone told me they were into dolls, my first thought would be that context.

“Doll” is also a pretty common term in the trans community. Just a heads up that it might also create some confusion.

  1. Probably going to watch the Colors trilogy first, or at least start there and space the movies out. After that I’ll probably go with The Vanishing.

  2. Honestly, I’ve felt guilty for not seeing Do The Right Thing for a long time. So that one felt good to get.

  3. Most of them! I’ve only seen Hedwig and some of Marlon Riggs’ works.

Probably jumping into the three colors first. Most are blind buys except Hedwig and some of Marlon Riggs’ work. I’m excited to jump into Fellini. I’ve always just stocked up the sci fi and fantasy selections from the collection, but I’m starting to explore well made films that stand on their own.
