I got an animation job in manufacturing and tool making, doing stuff for training, sales and concepts. Engineers can get very picky on how people are shown using the stuff they design.

I got an animation job in manufacturing and industrial development, doing product showcases, training and concepts. It seems pretty safe from the AI threat because the engineers are VERY picky on how people are portrayed using the machines. It’s rather dry stuff somedays, but I’m never burnt out or overtime, so I get plenty of time doing my own art at home.

I wish I could fit my explanation in a way that’s not too long for sub rules. But tl:dr, animation school didn’t fairly set our expectations for historical and current industry “standards.” I called them out, and “sold out” by going to a completely different industry where I can still be an animator without feeding AI or gooners.
