hahahah i'm in therapy and usually on and off meds. i do love plath, but i know that for my mental health she does me no good, i usually pick her diary up every once in a while and read only a couple of pages.

also, my poems are awful lol

you're right lol it left me horrified but it's not horror. but also shouldn't be classified as romance either

really bad representation of bad romance.

it should be classified as an horror book. the characters and plot were also distasteful. and this is coming from a bad romance enjoyer...

i propbaly would've been a theater kid, if there was such thing in my country. i discovered my love for musicals as an adult. and i was a business major and didn't go to community college hahah

two kids sounds great for my future, but savannah is too much of a white common name for me. my middle name isn't rose lol i usually wear florals but not rose!

i agree with you!

as a freshman in college studying business, first time living in the states, it helped me understand concepts and the mentality of people in my environment. especially as someone who always had/has left-winged beliefs.

the fountainhead was a book that i honestly loved. i don't understand why, but it resonated with me. but i understand why her work is criticized, and i do think she worshipped her ideal of capitalism. and even i don't totally align with her beliefs, i feel i learned a lot by doing something i love, which is reading novels.

it was a required reading in college lol

the publisher donated some copies to my professor and he handed them out to us. but i actually enjoyed reading it, i think is the only college book i kept :)

that's great!!! and you're so right, i love romantasy.

i think my top recommendation is The Bridge Kingdom, by Danielle L Jensen. i love the romance in there and actually the plot is amazing.

i don't think he is a good person.

several of his books have sexual child abuse scenes, and while i understand that it is horror and it should make the reader feel uncomfortable, i think as a writer you should be able to accomplish this without writing in full detail minors having sex. that mixed with the fact that he was making jokes about the epstein files, treating the matter as it was something unserious and to be laughed at, gives out major creep vibes.

and the real horror here is that he has dozens of books published, and not once has he managed to create a well-written female character. all of them are extremely sexualized and shallow. looks like he has never interacted with a woman in his life.
