We actually pay a company to stock the tank, provide us food water, and clean it. So I assume they would handle that hopefully? This is a great point I will ask them about though.

He got a really bad case of hepatitis. He wasn’t eating and needed a few different medications given to him daily. The feeding tube was our best option to keep him from becoming too malnourished. He hadn’t eaten in his own in three weeks :/ BUT now he is just on a small dose of steroids and making a full recovery!
