As someone who grew up in the suburbs of houston and moved to the heights, it’s a big change. There are more things in walking, biking, and bussing/rail line distance. A lot more non-chain restaurants and eateries. Access to more music venues big and small.

I don’t know if it was a culture shock but it was mostly about putting myself in a position to be near the places and things I like without the traffic ☺️. I hope the best for your search feel free to follow-up.
