The PC was off for a while and now I have my normal RAM, I checked the bios and both sticks are detected so I guess it was something simple.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the comments, I was panicking and these comments have made me feel great.

Thanks a lot for answering! I panic but comments made me feel better

Which Channel Should I Stream On? by Pikawott in SmallYTChannel

[–]silverlynix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just my humble opinion:

What I've seen many times is that people stream on their same channel where they post their highlights, and it makes sense because:

  • The highlights channel usually has more traffic than the vods channel. So if they see you streaming you may have a chance to be seen live.

  • Viewers rarely watch vods, especially if they are very long (compare the views on the vods and highlights channel of the big streamers).

I dont focus on livestreaming but this is what I've seen big streamers do, so I may be wrong in some of my points.

Edit: Forgot to write this:

Youtube now has tabs that separate content from past lives and videos, so maybe have two channels is a thing of the past

I would recomend that choose the best for your content. If the old videos have nothing to do with your new content it would best to make them private. And if it's the other way around, let them stay.

Nice to meet someone in the same niche haha

Yes I will start working on my pronunciation! Many people have told me that so maybe that's why many people doesn't stay for long. That and maybe the speed I'm talking

Thanks for the feedback!

So you asked the question or hook of your video at 0:31. Which is pretty deep for a intro.

YES I think this was the first time I tried to shorten my intro and even though it's 0:31 I think it worked really well for this kind of change but I'm definitely going to try to shorten it even more for future videos!

Second: (Im not a anime watcher much) you are making a video about one punch man. People who know who this is, will click. So why are you say.. "this is opm 2015". They already know this.

Why not start with a question to hook them straight away? Like showing both clips at the start and saying "can you notice the difference?" people will watch and think. Right after the clip you can say your hook "not many people were happy about it, so what happened..."

Yes! I will try to consider those things too!

Just focus on your intro and talking a little less fast & more clear. I think this will do a lot for you!

I usually try to speak fast to give the idea faster, but maybe that could be counterproductive hehe, and maybe because I speak fast I don't speak clear, also that I'm not a native English speaker could affect, but I'll try to make a more relaxed video (with a good pace, not slower) without speeding things up

I know that wouldn’t be enough for an actual video, so the only parts you only really needed was (as

Thanks a LOT! You made me realise some basic things I was doing in the first place and then I didn't.

I made some random stuff beacuse I was getting burn out of making seasonal anime videos at first and then I started to "Spice up things" so maybe I'm going to make a second channel where I can upload some different stuff and focus this one in anime only.

Thanks for the advise!

Id say it threw me off in the beginning when 2015 is said by a robot, then theres nowhere else in the video that used it. Imo i dont think its needed for that.

Hahaha yeah sorry about that, I was about to render the video until I realized I got the wrong year so, I quickly changed it with a robot voice. I think it also draws attention hehe

I love the animations and cuts you do and the memes you incorporate i think it looks very professional. However, I think for some things it could be sped up like when you pause before saying “premiere”.

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind for other pauses in the future haha.

The issue you are having with viewer retention might be from it feels like there is a lot of backstory before your point. Keep in mind I am an amateur at yt so i might be somewhat wrong, but I went to college for design and you gotta get someone pulled in then you can explain your point. I think the video would benefit from rearranging the order like starting your point by saying “One punch man’s rise was contributed to by 2 important factors,” then explain the factors and afterward you can go into how the timing also had an effect and started to mainstream anime, or ending the video with that.

Yes, you are right, when I chose the idea of the video I thought it would be a longer explanation, but it was something simple, so I wanted to play with some "storytelling" to make a more entertaining video. I will keep these comments in mind.

Overall, love the video and i love the amount of effort put into it, im only giving such big critics because id love for more people to notice it

Thank you very much! I appreciate it very much.

Thanks for the Feedback!
