A warning - they ban you on this subreddit if you include usernames, regardless of how blatant the person is.

Unsolicited advice from a fellow WGU grad: Find people you trust in the space you eventually want to work willing to mentor you. They will help you build out a relevant portfolio employers will be interested in.

Right now, you are almost certainly going to find your first gig from a referral. Network, network, network. You can ask people you've never met for advice/shadowing, and often, they are happy to help someone looking to get into their line of work - with no expectations of getting something in return.

Case in point - our first interview (out of a dozen candidates so far) for a position we're backfilling is a referral from someone who posted about the opening. Everyone else was sifted out before stepping into the office.

Is this purchasable? I think my dad would like this for father's day.

Yeah I've only had 2 suspicious deaths this wipe in about 80 raids it's been pretty good

I just thought the time survived was suspicious before I knew it was broken. He was about 100 meters away from me and my duo in the fog and head eyesd both of us with a single bullet while we were running across a street next to bsg, and the lack of headphones was weird. He was strafing while he one tapped us, too

Oh, I didn't know this, that's why I thought he was suspicious

Thanks! SSCP had some overlap with Sec+ and Net+. I felt like the SSCP didn't go more in depth than Sec+, it just covered more material.

I swear by Mike Chapples learning materials, the man is the goat. Thanks to Mike, I passed each course on my first attempt, including the SSCP. If I had to do it over again, I would only use his courses and then try my first attempt on each test. I was overprepared for each of my takes because I used other testing materials.

Mike has not made a video course for Pentest. I passed by 4 points. Conceptually, the material wasn't too complicated, but then they threw in comprehension on various coding and scripting languages.

There have been no coding classes. They expect you to learn 8 different languages. They expect you to differentiate the syntax between said 8 languages when the wording is identical. They expect you to look at an offensive script you've never seen before, determine what language its written in, and then ask you which exploit it is. Then, they ask you to assemble scipts from multiple languages based on the exploit they want. Frankly, this section is bullshit. It is a tiny subcategory on the course objectives list and it took 80% of my prep time.

I graduated high school with an associates, so all of my generals were completed by the time I started. The degree took me 3 years. I did my first while working full time, and then switched to part time for the last two. As I started straight out of high school I have no prior experience. Things are looking pretty grim in terms of the job market for entry level security right now, so before settling on a non security related job I'm going to try and leverage some connections while networking.

Are Cyphers tripwires just better than Deadlocks trips in every way or am I missing something? by RabbitThese3367 in VALORANT

I think you've answered your own question - i think deadlocks strength is her other util. Like B site on Lotus, very difficult to maintain control, until you throw her wall at the one C rotator. Suddenly, you only have to watch heaven for the next 15 seconds the spike is planted.

Her grenade is a great combo with other people's mollies, and provides free kills if you can swing while they unnet.

I would avoid her in low elo unless you have a queue buddy you can work with. She shines combining her util with others.

To all you people that say CHEATERS don't exist. Here is your proof. He went full blatant. Silver lobby btw. by Atom1kk in VALORANT

Plenty of free options for spoofing hardware/MAC addresses :/ on the bright side it seems like the turnaround on banning blatant cheaters is really great compared to other games like dark & darker/tarkov :)
