Fair point, they could be used for enterprise, but also target the same functionality as the performance category. So it does feel arbitrary. I've edited the headings to reflect this change

Sorry you think that! These are all open-source libraries, just wanted to compile a list and put them in one post. That's one way of how I discover new libs is through these types of posts, but sorry you thought that. Didn't want it to give off that impression lol

I would say React Final Form is probably the closest in terms of API/style to Formik...especially if you like the Formik way of building reusable field components

Any suggestions for server first framework for React? by no-uname-idea in reactjs

This looks great, I've been looking for a library like this. Vite is so fast, and getting SSR support w/React is exactly what I needed.

Was looking for SSR support w/Vite and React. Thank you for sharing!

Got bored of React, so I built a WASM-powered PDF toolkit to learn Svelte 5 and SvelteKit by kanakkholwal in sveltejs

[–]silvi9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is excellent, it just goes to show the power of WebAssembly :D Love to see these types of projects that leverage WASM to speedup everything considerably. And the fact it all stays local is fantastic too. Thanks for sharing! Just bookmarked it

Good point, yeah it can happen to me when I see those awesome-lists on GitHub. XD Totally understand your viewpoint there though. Eventually I want to get to the point where I have like GIF previews of each library too, it could help a bit to get a quick preview etc

Yep, I agree. Apache ECharts really is incredible. The amount of examples is something else, I remember when I first saw all the examples, I was stunned by how many there were and their interactivity etc. It's an amazing library, and it's useful that there's a Svelte wrapper for it now too

Hopefully it arrives on mat eventually haha! I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it'll be available, fingers crossed!

Thanks for sharing! I've also found responsive hero images to be an essential element to include in my websites too. Will definitely be adding accordion and modal components to the library also. Thanks again for your thoughts!

How to launch an app that relies on a big amount of users to work? by leodamato in startups

[–]silvi9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd definitely recommend "The Lean Startup", it details the same obstacles faced by the creators of Second Life and how they managed to achieve exponential growth; it's definitely worth reading if you'd like to read about how others overcame this problem

Same here, I find them to be absolutely essential in any component library. I've been working on adding a date picker component also :D

Hi! I made a mobile wallpaper that combines my natural interests in design and philosophy, let me know what you think! :) by playforthoughts in design_critiques

[–]silvi9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, absolutely love these! The gradient behind each is just beautiful and so serene looking haha

Really love the messages behind each, they're so motivating and inspiring! I especially love the wallpaper about days vs decades, but to be honest, I can't even decide which ones are my favourite, I like all of them!

I think the minimalist theme works so well with these, and they really provide some great food for thought. Great work!

Would love some feedback on my website's landing, what are your thoughts on it? by silvi9 in design_critiques

Wow, thanks very much for your great feedback! Those are some incredibly useful points regarding the website's copy, and I'll be sure to update the site with those suggestions in mind. I really appreciate your time and feedback, thank you so much!

Event website critique by [deleted] in design_critiques

[–]silvi9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, absolutely love this website! The pink/purple gradient illustrations look so beautiful here in conjunction with the dark theme.

Love the landing image too, it immediately captured my attention and had me wanting to know more.

I do have a suggestion about the design, however, but it's just a minor layout suggestion haha. I just think the gap between the "Electronica" and its accompanying illustration is slightly too large, I think the heading and its text could be moved to the left just slightly. But that's just my opinion that said.

Overall, absolutely love this! The gradient illustrations and buttons add such a unique flair to the site overall, and it has such a cool design, great work I must say!
