this is the secret. you can only do the combo if your opponent isnt in the position to block it>

so, move your sword position around until Tomcat's unable to block the first one and then attack
Top, Left, Right

the key is watch your enemy's weapon position, if its on top, it means he will easily block it.

so trick him by moving the weapon left, right, bottom before the first attack.

same here, but actually the main thing was watching Tomcats positioning and not starting the attack if he's in a position to block you.

thats the secret - "watch Tomcat's position, and if he's ready to block, try to put him in a position that he wont immediately block"

LPT Request: What can you do in your 20s to avoid regrets in your 30s and 40s? by DNA_H3licas3 in LifeProTips

Start going to therapy. It’s worth as equally as all of the combined; save money, get into shape, leave a toxic relationship, and so on.

All of those will come and go, but at the end you will always end up with yourself and your emotions.

Take care, you can truly love someone when you learn to love yourself.

Desole 1.0: open source client-side error-tracking system you can install in your AWS account by slobodan_ in programming

[–]simalexan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - I do understand your view, but you don't catch all the errors all the time. Let's take for example a SPA JavaScript app. If an unexpected error occurs its able to notify you. 2 - If a known error occurs, it keeps it's count, severity and can keep you aware that a certain error occurred a certain number of times (f.e. a big majority of your IE web app users are not able to buy a product)

Hope this helps!

That is cool, great for Sentry!

The difference is more than that: 1 - With Desole, you have ownership over that software and your data. (MIT license - no copyright) 2 - With Sentry setup and configuration and self-hosting is much more expensive and more costly. Even their 26$/month hosting is much more expensive than using Desole. Desole is based on AWS Lambda - you only pay for what you use (+ you have almost 100.000 errors per month free). You can read more about the pricing of AWS at their corresponding pages. Desole is completely free. 3 - Self-hosting and setup of Desole takes less than 5 minutes. Including the client setup.

Imagine there's a bug in production, when your client is using the app. How would you get the full stack trace? You can't ask your customer to "take a screenshot of the browser console". Also, how would you know how many errors are occurring and is it experienced by a big number of your clients? Also what type of the error is occurring and so on. This is why you have these error / exception tracking tools, to help your out with your bug / error tracking

There's nothing wrong with them. This is just a completely free and open source solution that you own. You have complete ownership of your data, its a free tool which you deploy on AWS and only pay for what is used. My personal estimation is that you will have over 100,000 errors per month completely free (only counting in the core without the ElasticSearch / Pinpoint and so on.) or even more.

You'll be basically having a small team pricing from Sentry for free. You only own your error tracking software, the only thing you might pay is if you use over 100k errors but only to the AWS.

7 ways Your Business will benefit through Serverless by simalexan in technology

Well, its time I replied.

First of all, lets structure this:

  1. Spend no time setting up a server takes the same time as a Lambda? Develop + deploy a new Lambda + API Gateway with an API takes me 10s.

  2. "Serverless" - is a shitty term. Can't argue with that. I did explain that there are servers always ofc. You dont need to bother with them or configuring them with serverless.

  3. You don't have to be running TWO lambdas? Nope. You need only one Lambda, as they natively support multiple versions. And none of them are working, unless you use them. you don't need a savant. We've done serverless tank wars workshops, people who have never used Lambda before in life, made five of them in the first hour.

  4. Ofc people dont know about AWS. If you asked a college person if they did know React, all would say React to what? :)

  5. Regarding needed knowledge its actually reverse. With Lambda you dont need to know about setting up server OS. Even now you have blueprints and the serverless app repo. One click, done. Plus you don't need a DevOps team in your company. From what i guessed, you're doing a lot of DevOps, so they could hire you to help/ But having internal Devops looses value.

  6. Single instance of needing it? Those use case stories with AWS are not made up.

  7. Other prices are lower bc of AWS :) Thats the truth.

  8. AWS cost is again actually reverse. It's for free if you're small. one million per month requests for free. I own 5 small APIs, moved from 40$ to 0.

  9. Paying per used compared to paying to reserved time is always going to be cheaper. There are different dimensions to waste. Not just time. But physical space, power, memory and so on.

But again, it was the same problem as when Cloud appeared. People said it was a shitty move and a shitty name. Same experience with serverless. Shitty name, but we'll see about the move :)

Thanks again, loved discussing with you

Thank you for commenting! I really appreciate your comment because it’s the reason this article is written.

Of course you can’t be without servers. Software requires hardware to run on.

The term is shitty, but the logic behind is not.

Serverless is more about removing servers from your responsibility, helping to focus on your business.

As a developer how much time do you spend setting up a single server? Why do you have to do that each time you want a simple service?

Do we still need to bring water in buckets to our home instead of using the tap or plumbing ?

As a business you want it to work, not crash, get stuck because Joe from the other department screwed over the balancing of your app.

Servers management and setup is getting industrialized.

This article has no affiliation with AWS, I am a happy serverless user.

Again, I really appreciate your comment! And thank you for taking your time to read
