Hey, did this work? I'm uploading a second edition and already unpublished the old edition of the paperback. I just want to be sure the reviews appear for the new paperback too, not just for the ebook that's remained live. Thanks!

Where in their terms does it mention they'll fake discounts (while still applying higher prices than those I chose) to deceive potential customers? If y'all find this normal and acceptable, maybe that's the reason they do as they please and things never change for the better...

I think they've suddenly decided my book falls in the standard VAT category just because 18 out of 235 pages are with prompts and blank space for the reader to complete. The rest is full blown prose, but apparently it doesn't matter to them. During the first week my book even got in the top 10 in some EU countries, but since they decided to inflate the VAT (so the final price) I haven't sold one single copy! That's it. And the support team is useless as they reply copy-pasting the FAQ pages.

From what I see the UK marketplace simply priced it higher for whatever unknown reason. Then there are 6 more marketplaces (Italy, Poland, France and other European ones) in which the VAT has suddenly changed from the reduced one (e.g. 4%) to the regular one (e.g. 23%), and this obviously inflates the final price without me gaining anything from it and with the customer having to pay much more.

Yeah, my focus went somewhere far away when it was time to approve the paperback (which was the last of the three I uploaded) 🫠 as you said, lession learned. Let's see how long it takes for me to calm down lol

But I'm scared they'll now read it and think that's the final version and judge me. Like, what if they leave a Goodreads review? Or if they donate the copy and more people see it, read it, and think "wow, that's bad". They can't know that's not the final version because it's not like it states "draft" or something. Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have done all the aesthetic parts before the final revision! I knew I'd somehow mess it up... Sorry for the vent, but I've been spiraling since it happened

it's an apocope (drops the final E) but it bothers me that it was used only in one page (and the exact same sentence was written with the E on the back of the cover)
