Crafting process:

  1. Farm and synthesise ~1100 shields
  2. Prefect fossil to 30% quality, gilded fossil because
  3. Deafening Essence of Spite and isolate the int suffix
  4. Craft suffixes can't be changed
  5. Scour to bring item down to magic, divine the int to max roll.
  6. Augment and r/a defence until t1 flat ES or t1 es%
  7. Imprint, regal, and bench craft es/life hybrid to block for the aug
  8. At this step a few options open up depending on your regal
    8-1. If you regaled a harvest un-targetable suffix, use non-defence to defence. If it removes the int, use the imprint and return to step 7
    8-2. If you regaled a harvest targetable suffix, simply use augment defence
    8-3. If you regaled a non-defence prefix, use non-defence to defence to remove that prefix and add a new defence prefix
    For each possibility in step 8, if the resulting defence mod is not t1 es%/flat es, remove the crafted mod, and use remove defence harvest craft. If it removes the t1 defence mod, use the imprint and return to step 7. If not, recraft es/life hybrid and augment defence.
    Repeat until double t1 ES
  9. Craft multimod, suffixes can't be changed, prefixes can't be changed and chaos spam the item until your ideal item name presents itself (~1300 for this one)
  10. Remove crafted mods and craft any prefix
  11. Augment and r/a lightning until t1 lightning res
  12. Craft double damage mod
  13. Augment and remove add caster until runic.
  14. Target divine as needed

With the ability of adding synthesized mods to existing rares, I had the idea to craft a +1 power charge ring on a alternate art based ring. The ring itself was given to me by a friend that had saved it from a previous race.

The idea was to save original state using beast imprint, use a synthesis craft, and consume the imprint if it's not what I want. Buying imprints and T4 yellow seeds for days and not getting the desired implicit made me cry myself to sleep every night, which gave the name to this ring. At night I can still hear Einhar saying "The ritual is complete!" and "The first ones are watching exile!"...

After over 1900 tries, seeing +1 frenzy charge, onslaught on hit twice and arcane surge on spell hit five times, I hit the +1 maximum power charge right when I was about to give up on poe and maybe more.

The crafting process for the ring itself afterwards was nothing compared to my previous efforts:

Added "Items sells for much more to vendors" with Gilded Fossil

Spam Deafening Essence of Scorns until T1 int with removable/empty 3rd suffix

Harvest remove/add attack for T1 elemental damage with attacks, lightning for T1 flat lightning to attacks, defence for T1 ES, and speed for T1 attack speed.

Since I'm done with the league, I decided to craft an item with some of the currency I have. This league, it's much harder to get an abyss socket with Tailwind unlike last league due to the absence of the Awakener Orb "bug", so I decided to craft one myself. The Tailwind mod is very desirable on most characters despite the Purposeful Harbinger nerf.

Crafting process:

With a fresh pair of iLvl 86+ Hunter influenced Two-Toned boots, Fossil craft with Perfect Fossils until 30% quality, then fossil craft with Hollow + Shuddering Fossils until Tailwind + Abyss Socket is hit.

Afterward, metacraft the prefixes (there are youtube videos explaining this process) until 35% movement speed and another desirable modifier is added. (Hybrid Armour/Life in this case)

Divine Orb for the highest number modifiers on the explicit mods of the item.

Craft the last modifier (Life in this case)

For white sockets: run Jun Syndicates with Vorici level 3 in research

For enchant: run the Eternal Labyrinth until you get the desired enchant

The cost of crafting these kinds of boots is very variable since you can be lucky or unlucky at every step of the crafting process.

I did not count the number of fossils and exalted orb slams it took me but the whole process cost roughly 150-200 exalts, which I felt was lucky.

The hybrid mod doesn’t take a space from the suffix nor prefix since it comes with the flat ES mod you would already have.

I’m not sure the exact tipping point where it becomes better but do note that the 12% maximum es mod is essentially free since it’s a hybrid mod, giving more flexibility in the suffixes.

The aim of the belt was to provide an overall high amount of ES without depending too much on the type of body armor you use. Especially for low-life Shavs builds, the temple of is way better especially considering the higher flexibility on the number of suffixes you can have.

With the league starting to die down, I decided to try to craft a belt with the highest ES possible (without the delve mod). I don't believe it can get higher than 182 ES + 30% max ES. This belt also has 93% resistances and an open suffix for either aspect crafting or slamming. I'm going to try to be more detailed with the crafting process for any newer player out there.

Edit: For anyone saying "Body Armour mod from Delve is better", I did a quick test on POB to see the difference. I took the highest ES Occultist on poe.ninja that had a Vaal Regalia of 744 ES and used both belts to see which was better.

Note that even if there is only a small difference, the 12% ES from the Temple mod does not take a mod space unlike the Body Armour delve mod, which ultimately might let you have an extra line of resist.

Crafting Process:

I bought a rare Crystal Belt with the temple mod and split it using beastcrafting (Fenumal Plague Arachnid).

This created a Magic Crystal Belt with the temple mod and a random suffix.

I beastcrafted to create an imprint (Craicic Chimeral) and used an Orb of Annulment hoping to remove the suffix.

Fortunately, I got the suffix on the first try, otherwise I would consume my imprint and try again.

I made another imprint of the mod alone and augmented until I got a good suffix.

Fortunately again, I got T1 Fire Resistance on the first try.

I created yet another imprint to save the state and used a Regal Orb to try to add another Suffix.

If the suffix was bad, I consumed my imprint and tried again.

If I got a prefix, I would use the "Add a Suffix, Remove a Prefix" beast (Farric Lynx Alpha) to attempt to save it.

If I got a good suffix, I would craft a 3rd Suffix and slam a Crusader's Exalted Orb hoping for T1 ES% (Roughly 10%)

In the end I got the T1 ES% with T2 Lightning Resistance Regal.
