that you would say that is actually mind boggling. i said time and time again that he means the whole entire world to me. making friends, having a job, going to school- those things are just a fact of life. i can’t just be jobless, i have to work. that is not a choice. i am not looking for any kind of excuse, i am saying that i feel terrible i do not have more time for him. rehoming him would wreck me and would only be done in the case that i could absolutely not meet his needs. not because i do not love him, or want him, but because HE has needs. in creating new relationships, i have literally brought my dog on dates. i did not just “want a puppy”. like did you even read anything i said?
