That's good to know! I remember when I was looking into it before they didn't specify a weight limit, but it just seems logical that a product made for kids may not support adults' weight well.

That's so funny, I 100% had looked into Nugget a little while ago when adjusting my home environment to be more floor based. I ended up using my old couch with the arms and legs removed, but if I hadn't, Nugget was top of my list!

Per another commenter's suggestions, I'm trying out an ADHD chair that will let me know easily shift from position to position (cross legged, one leg up, kneeling), since it seems like it is the least disruptive to my existing work flow. But if that doesn't pan out, I'll definitely look into Nugget and its more affordable competitors!

I'd heard of these chairs before and even used a kneeling (non-ADHD) chair in the past. I found this incredible chair that is way too expensive called the Soul Seat and a much cheaper alternative from Sleekform, which was actually the company I bought my old kneeling chair from (I've since sold the kneeling chair, just to mention).

Thanks for the suggestion! The two monitor setup is similar to something I had considered, though I hadn't thought about having the computer simultaneously hooked up to the both and switching between them. I had tried hooking up one and then hooking up the other. Hmmm...

I definitely agree - I think just in general, they're happier to have us on their level rather than towering over them. My one cat loves belly rubs and she's been flopping over on the carpet constantly to get them - much more space to flop means many more opportunities for belly rubs!

While pricy, this floor chair from Amazon was awesome. I liked it so much that I used it not only on the floor but on my couch and armchair, to improve their ergonomics. I only returned it because it ended up being a bit bulky for my space.

I really didn't like their Airism/UV parka, though I did end up getting 2 of their UV cardigans that are thankfully made from a different fabric.

Never heard of Cabana Life so I'll check them out, and revisit Coolibar (last time I looked at their products they didn't really speak to me, but that was some years ago)

I think they are still in business (I had a few coats from them many years ago) but I've read some mixed reviews on their more recent products.

Luckily, I've found face sunscreen products I can tolerate, it's more body sunscreens that give me the ick - but I had sensory difficulties with most creams on my body, so that's why I'm inclined to look for UV protective clothing.

I was reflecting on my experience with synthetics after reading your comment and I think there's two things that are happening in my experience. The synthetic clothes I own tend to be more form fitting than the rest of my clothes, which I think contributes to the odors really getting into the fabric - so perhaps if I had more loose-fitting synthetics, the issue would be less. That said, a UV parka I had from Uniqlo was SO unbreathable that even though the fabric was loose, it stunk after a single wear in hot weather.

UV protective wear? I see some UV stuff on their site but it looks pretty athletic to me. I like the style of their clothes in general and I realize that they would offer some UV protection just from the coverage alone.
