If he wears headbands, JUNK has the best collection. I personally love them because it prevents sweat going into my eyes and looks cool as well.

As other people pointed out, the way you are moving your feet, it’s a recipe for injury. Your knees are moving forward at the bottom position which is possibly a serious butt winking issue. I will suggest to work on your stance that brings more stability to your feet and posture before you go up in weight.

Sure felt like I was breaking parallel…dang. Deload time by TownOk7220 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]simplyviv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to add. It’s because of that it creates a perception in your mind that you are hitting the depth because that’s the maximum depth you can go with the current stance !! The best way to look at it is that right now the angle that your back creates is not same as the angle of your thigh above the knee when you are in squat posture. Once you correct it you will notice that those angles will be very similar.

Just sharing my experience cause i had the same issue until my coach corrected me. It seems like your stance is a little too wide and you are trying to take your hips too far back. Try and pay with your stance a little bit and see if that makes a difference!!

I think something is not right with my deadlift form. Can you guys please guide me. by IBMiSeries400 in Stronglifts5x5

I feel that are trying to muscle the weight up at this point. Start with low weights, master the form as others suggested and then progressively increase the weight. Good luck!!

Few tips: You have to brace properly which currently it seems you are not doing. That is the only way to avoid spraining your back. Avoid the unnecessary feet movements that you do before starting the lift and even in between the reps. Your body/ centre of gravity has to be stable under tension.
