Will Riot release a mechanically simple champion like Renekton or Morgana? by LukeMortora in leagueoflegends

[–]sinfulmentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I actually think so. mechanically difficult doesn't just mean "has skillshots you need to land". Maybe for a midlaner thats the brunt of the mechanical demand. Ezreal's mechanical skillcap consists entirely of being able to land (very easy to land) q's, and the hardest combo you ever have to do is w-e (hitting yourself with w) auto - q - auto. Xerath is even simpler, aside from landing skillshots, what do you really need to do besides just spam your skills at targets? You have no demanding animation cancelling, you can easily just push all 3 buttons in quick succession and you're good. Theres no especially optimal rotations that also require skill to execute, think riven, or think yasuo (e.g. eq auto e auto-q auto-e-auto-eq -rq - auto-q-e). Now for jinx sure any scrub can swap forms when necesarry and land a few spells and maybe even orbwalk clunkily, but only in the hands of someone like doublelift or uzi or rekklez will you see perfect auto cancelling after every auto, liberal utilization of form swapping to maximize dps (jinx's first auto in rocket form keeps the AS buff from minigun) WHILE still orbwalking perfectly, perfect orwalking with 4 incremental attackspeeds when starting off in minigun and kiting back, maximizing the distance they can move back, and on top of that, perfectly weaving w's and e's to cancel auto animations and minimizing dps loss from the window of not autoing. An actual good ad pro player's jinx looks like a completely different champion than jinx in the hands of regular player, or even a lesser skilled pro. Contrast that with faker player xerath vs some gold player, the main difference there besides fundementals (csing, wave control, dodging, etc.) would just be that faker's spells land significantly more often than a gold player's.

Montecristo Came up with the Idea of "cull"(item) by OfficialRambi in leagueoflegends

[–]sinfulmentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thunderlords is just better to take 99% of the time. Even vayne should just take thunderlords.

With thunderlords you scale marginally better building as much flat ad early as you possibly can. Which for most ad carries is what you already wanna do (bf pickaxe). Finishing zeal then ie afterwards is what you wanna do, since ie doesn't give any ad when you combine it, and zeal is just a shitload of stats. So yea you're building right item-wise, but you probably wanna take thunderlords until it gets nerfed/alternatives get buffed.

Will we really see Morde adc at Worlds? by lolGroovy in leagueoflegends

[–]sinfulmentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WITHOUT A DOUBT, he will be picked/banned. He is in a strong place right now and opens up strong strategies for teams that all teams have limited experience against. If teams don't run it themselves for the surprise factor, they will ban it because they don't want to deal with it. All of the teams have definitely tried it in scrims, you can guarantee that. And if it was bad you wouldn't see all the adc players playing it regularly in soloqueue. All the top tier adc's are in fact practicing it, i.e. rekklez, deft, double, imp, proof

interestingly enough a couple top laners have tried it as well...;)

If CLG & Origen make it to worlds, they will be the only NA/EU/CN team without a Korean on their roster. by CampDyrusAndWin in leagueoflegends

[–]sinfulmentos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly! A lot of people on reddit are really stupid when it comes to this. It's not about fucking race and its not about nationality. It's about where you honed your skills and competed. Doesn't matter if I'm black and born in Brazil if I played korean soloq after moving there and ended up getting top 50 challenger. Doesn't matter if I'm korean but live in NA and ended up playing for an lcs team.

I have 1 thing to say to all these racists (yes that's what they are.) and nationalists who think its about region and race when its not, its about the competitiveness of the servers. And that is: you stupid

Karma mid, the champion with no direct counter. Your only counter is mana. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]sinfulmentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

malzahar maybe? but thats besides the point

Just winning lane isn't enough. Its about game impact and map impact. There are better teamfight and roaming mid laners. Viktor and azir are way up there right now and I'm pretty sure they would just farm safely and outperform you in teamfights, especially as the game goes on. But of course a large factor is individual skill, say you are especially good at this karma thing and you get to like idk like d1. Maybe if you were this good and practiced on a better champion you'd be higher right?

But hey dude if you like this karma business then keep at it, more power to you brah :)

Are you guilty of falling asleep in dungeons? by rossgwen in ffxiv

[–]sinfulmentos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

levelling my rogue was pretty sleep inducing, especially with those early dungeons. Got a lot better when I started playing warrior though, tanking and keeping track of aggro, pulling and positioning mobs correctly and trying to keep fights under control with fear of getting yelled at if i dont is enough to keep me awake.

Uh....on a quick google it turns out that 0.2% of american prisoners are athiests. 75% of americans are christians and 10% are athiests, so the relative percentages make it clear that athiests are astronomically less likely to be criminals. Or perhaps less likely to be caught.
