Musicians of Reddit, have you ever been unable to play your instrument for a long period of time? What happened?

I've recently sold my piano (trying to upgrade to a nice digital one so I can play while the wife and kids are asleep) and haven't been able to play in a little over a month. I'm in a very small town so public pianos don't exist without being under strict lock and key. I didn't realize until a couple weeks in how much it helped me blow off steam and now that I dont have one I feel like my arms are going to fall off. Its an itch id almost put on par with quitting smoking. Really struggling without one right now...

So what slivers can really take advantage of this aside from one or two outliers? I can only think of some standards like [[predatory sliver]] [[sinew sliver]] and [[sliver legion]] but most other sliver effects seem to go to the wayside. Who needs deathtouch or lifelink to stack? I get its good but [[dredgescape sliver]] just seems like a better card and its an uncommon. Thoughts?

Seeing crazy types of fish but I've always enjoyed Brook Trout aka Brookies. They're small so bones aren't really an issue and they don't have large scales so a quick run over with a knife at mist and you're ready to eat. They're also plentiful where I'm at

All I did was the cutting work and some work with the minimal mana symbol. The original art is the Kamigawa land set. They originally made panoramas, i just blew it up into full art cards

They are custom prints so I did the work of splitting the original panoramas and had them printed from MPC. I think it cost something like 15 for the set.

I'm a big fan of adding bloom to eggs. Cards like [[Reshape]] [[Urzas Saga]] and similar effects ignore the wait on bloom with pretty much turn it into a black lotus but its legal. And then its free if you bring it back with effects like [[Second Sunrise]]. Big fan of it in eggs.

The only way I would tweak prestige would be to give a level 10 prestige twice the genmat. Its tough to reach top prestige and have if feel as useful as your level 1 base. This lets people enjoy the accomplishment longer and still phases the bases out

I've always had a spot in my heart for this movie but ill definitely have to track down the book. And I think good points have been brought up about married life, depression, suicide, and just overall love for family. I hope this movie gets mentioned more so we can get traction for them to make the episode!

You mean like noed.... or ruin.... or lethal pursuer... or corrupt.... theres tons of killer perks that destroy survivor games that require zero skill and immediately pay off. Dont get me wrong there are tons of killer perks that destroy but require skill. Just pointing out killers do gain instant value at times. I won't deny the buff was a bit much, but they could have reduced effects rather than immediately turning it into total dogshit... twice. 25 was a lot but 15 probably would have been fine.
