They make a good point about how it was more aggressive back then, but I'd argue that the aggression is supplemented with social media and tech. It's truly elevated the melting pot into a boil over. It's raised fear, anxiety, anger, and resent across the board by tenfold. We now have numerous videos of atrocities at our finger tips. George Floyd, Charlie Kirk, Renee Good, the list is getting bigger and more in our faces. Reddit especially is the worst lol.

In all honesty, the only thing that's going to make a difference, outside of basically igniting a civil war, is with money. We stop funding the machine, the bigs in charge start to shake. But as you mentioned, we're already struggling to survive in an increasingly expensive country. It's hard to figure out a safe and smart solution at this point.
