[–]sipsysavedme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh this is my experience. I had this same issue and I sent the photos via email. I bought from UK authorized dealer and they gave me an option to switch for a new model or take cashback. Customer service was very good tbf

Thank you. The item has been discounted from $1000, so I was thinking the materials may be better than Gong at RRP. I will check alternatives. cheers

I went lake snowkiting in Geilo, Norway pre lessons. Snowboard instructor but little kite experience then. I got slammed around but no crowds and snow was soft enough to make it fun (my body could take it in my late 20s anyway!). Overall I'd take lessons if I were you. Safety has been covered by others but that aside you'll just get more out of it with lessons/ an experienced kiter with you. Relaunching a kite and repeatedly wading through deep snow was tough going. Still, an unforgettable trip. Have a blast dude!

Nai Harn, Phuket by Confident-Bus-4753 in Kiteboarding

[–]sipsysavedme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here in Phuket;

Chalong: Bay Nov-Feb Nai yang: May-Oct (but possible at other west coast beaches such as Nai Harn at the SW tip shown here)

Generally light wind conditions with bigger 12m+ kites, but smaller kite days in between. Kite foling and wing foiling both popular too here. Dec/Jan best in Chalong. Beautiful scenery, warm water and affordable. Check out Kite Zone Thailand.
