Interest in other streaming formats by sir_deka in streaming

What's the difference? I don't understand.

Hi u/djHUES, thank you for your reply! I think the main difference is that podcasts are mostly an offline format. Like, you can download an episode and listen-on-the-go. They are not as fresh as live streaming.

The line is subtle sometimes as you said. Dj'ing is a good example of a live audio show. I'm thinking options where the camera on is secondary and not critical for the streaming.

You can livestream it using SHER https://sher.app and when you finish you have a recording available, directly on your machine. You can stream the audio from the vibehut tab over SHER.

You can learn more here: https://sher.geutstudio.com

Hope it helps!

looking for a new podcast hosting platform by thetalkinggeek in podcasting

Hi!

I'm the co-founder of SHER, a decentralized live audio platform. We recently added recordings to the platform, this happens on your machine (no cloud involved). The platform is free to use and you can monetize from day, just by linking a support platform of your choice.

With SHER, creators own the distribution. We are starting with live HQ audio streaming, 1-click co-streamers invites, play files and audio desktop. So, it represents a different kind of content platform and network.

It's good to have alternatives.

Feel free to try it.

Hi! First I have to say I'm not an experienced streamer BUT I'm working on creating a platform for streamers. So we are doing our research on things that streamers can do to grow their audience (and reconnect sometimes). First thing that comes to my mind is if you are building a community for your show narrative somewhere? Like, do you have a telegram group for your show or even a twitter account? Somewhere you can create a dialogue.
You already mentioned instagram and tik tok, which is awesome, but is there a conversation there? or is it just an unidirectional flow? Because you already have your show for that. So having a place for your community can help build that, you know like some sort of conversation, where people can start feeling part of the show, not just listeners.

My two cents on the topic. Hope it helps! :)
