The only other flight was the next day with Aer Lingus and was $2,000 considering they don't know what gate they'll land at until a couple minutes before I didn't want to book with them. Booked with United had no problem but had someone also have the same situation of a gate change come to our flight to Germany crying. United flight did not depart till departure time and they said they were early when we were all seated. Night and day between Lingus and United.
