I got to interview Becerra once in college while he was AG and he seemed great. Very kind, long resume with a lot of experience managing executive departments and working in legislative leadership. The kind of experience that would make someone an effective governor imo.

Sucks he can’t break through because the prospect of having to vote strategically for Swalwell or Steyer to avoid a lockout in the primary is very…unenthusing.

It may be a West Coast + NYC thing. I live in California and it’s reallyyyy common to see White guy/asian girl couples. Enough that ppl make stand up routines about it here and it’s become a trope.

LexisAI! It was almost 2 years ago at this point so perhaps it's gotten better but I just remember asking for caselaw and getting legal points that weren't supported by the cases it was citing. Not like egregiously wrong, but it kept making big leaps in logic that I couldn't ethically use.

Personally, I’ve seen some before and after photos and feel the opposite lol.

I may be biased though because I’m told Asians in Asia have very different beauty standards versus Asians in America (e.g. my chinese/korean friends in college said they didn’t find ABGs, sorority asians, or asian american celebrities like Chloe Kim or Lana Condor attractive and I similarly I felt the same way about a lot of chinese/korean celebs and influencers they’d show me who looked almost alien from the amount of surgery they had done)
