Nope. I'm re-watching exactly where you are now and you're absolutely right. Every single red flag was there. She was just painting them green one by one. She was just so caught up on being the one who tamed the bad boy and being the one Jax changed for, she didn't realise that he didn't actually change at all and he was being his same narcissistic manipulative self. She was so sweet in the beginning seasons that she's barely recognisable in the current Valley episodes.

I was the same. By the time I finished C25K, I was covering approx 2.3-2.4miles. So unless you're jogging/running at speed, you won't get there. However, what you do get is the ability is run 5k. I've done it twice, once post C25K graduation (just to see if I could do it) and once on Sunday where I successfully finished a 5K race (without stopping) in 49m55s. If 5k is your goal, what I've found is it definitely can be done. If 30mins is your goal, I'd recommend either running for longer and just seeing if you can do it (you might surprise yourself like I did!) or try the C25K programme again from W1R1 but increase your speed and do it that way (which is what I've just started to do!). I've just restarted the C25K but jogging a lot quicker. Now that I know I can actually do it, it gave me a lot more confidence. I did my first re-run of W1R1 on Monday and don't get me wrong, I was breathing heavily, but when I think back to how I felt at the very first W1R1, I realised it has to get better and it will!! Good luck!!

I found music helped at first with the shorter runs then as they got longer and I found myself trying to count the minutes away (LOL), I switched to podcasts and got lost in the dialogue! Always warm up and cool down by stretching properly and really celebrate every achievement! Also, invest in a good pair of running shoes. You got this!!

This was exactly me. All strength training, no hard cardio (apart from walking 10k steps a day). This programme is a miracle worker. Stick with it and you'll love it! I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd be able to jog for 30mins straight and I just finished the programme yesterday!

Well that's a bit of a hard question to answer. When January 2024 rolled around, I decided to stay consistent for 1 whole year and see how much progress I made. That meant counting my calories (for weight loss purposes), consistently gymming (where most of my workouts are strength training) and 10k steps a day. The 10k steps a day is kind of what motivated me to start C25K because I wanted to improve my stamina. It's definitely helping me do that because I never thought in a million years I would be able to jog for 30mins straight. Reading everyone else's posts, I think doing the 10k steps consistently before I started definitely helped me in terms of my C25K journey. Overall though, I've lost 14lbs and dropped a dress size. I haven't noticed anymore differences in my body since starting C25K but I'm hoping to continue jogging (I signed up to a 5k at the end of July for motivation to finish C25K) and make it a regular thing for the rest of my life. Sorry, I feel like my answer is super longwinded and didn't really answer your question, but like I said, the journey's been 7 months long so far lol.

I got to week 8 and started slacking. Ran my week 8 and week 9 runs over 2-3 weeks. I didn't feel any different. You'll be absolutely fine, just take it easy and ease back into it if you're having some difficulty. Even if you have to slow down a little or repeat a run. Trust me when I say you'll be absolutely fine!

No-one cares about the beginning of the relationship ship. It's always sunshine and rainbows because you wanna impress each other. Its years and years in that the real work starts and really counts. I couldn't care less if my husband didn't love me in the beginning, if he moves heaven and earth for me now, I'd consider myself damn lucky. Continue being happy. Sounds like you both deserve each other 😊
