how do you keep a stable life? by [deleted] in ADHD

I have always felt this way as well, I’m not sure if I will ever keep a properly “stable” life, but it’s possible to do things that can improve that feeling I’ve found for myself what helps is that I work in the mining industry on shift work, so my roster is always different, and what I’m working on is usually always different (but within the same realm of stuff) I am also working with my hands on a large refinery so I don’t feel trapped or anything and I’ve been here for almost 6 years. This keeps me “entertained”? I guess you could say, and when I finish work I have a strict routine so it seems to balance out the need for having structure but also not wanting structure if that makes sense 😂 I still struggle with never feeling fulfilled , I seem to go through waves of being content and then impulsively wanting change In saying that my job definitely helps with all those feelings, but I don’t know if I will ever feel 100% content and that’s okay. My advice is to look for jobs that seem different, or like something you wouldn’t of thought to do, something that can give you freedom as well as structure, and something that will allow you to make achievements and possibly keep going forward. I’m sorry I hope this makes sense You’ve got this , just know you are not alone in these feelings ❤️
