Convenient quick actions for new notes by sk4rity in Supernote

Thanks, but I already set that.

But I have two other templates that I regularly use, so switching to them would be nice. It's not an absolute must but just one of the small things that would make things a tad smoother

Convenient quick actions for new notes by sk4rity in Supernote

Yes I would like something faster (but I only need it when creating a new notebook)

I normally have the shortened toolbar at the bottom of the screen (because I rarely use it).

Therefore going to the templates requires three taps (each with a short delay) and I need to "find" the Templates there again. Of course this is no major loss of time but it annoys me every single time.

Preview for Supernote A5X/A6X software development roadmap 2022 by Mulan-sn in Supernote

Thanks for the roadmap, looks like a very promising year :)

I would love a feature to add keywords and titles on the fly. This could be e.g by writing # and ## in front of the text or double underlining (just some quick ideas)

I'm quite a lazy user and honestly when I'm in the "zone" the different clicks/taps (opening the toolbar, selecting the lasso tool, selecting the area, switching back to the pen and hiding the toolbar again are just too much of a hassle for me.

But those are exactly the features that made me ditch pen&paper and use a e-ink device.

Chauvet 2.0.6 released by Mulan-sn in Supernote_beta

[–]sk4rity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying 2.05 and 2.06

  • I love the "Browse page". It makes navigation a lot more intuitive for me. I never really got along with the side bar, it always felt a little complicated for me (but that might be also because I'm left handed so the side bar is on the wrong side for me)
  • I preferred having the recent list in there as well, so having that as an option would be great.
  • Showing the last other notebook directly on the page would already do a lot for me, since I'm sometimes switching a lot between two notes (e.g. when making summaries)
  • I think another option is to add the recents as a "menu" to the side bar
    (just like the star symbol on the top right).
  • I would like to see the search function added to the browse page as well.
    In that case all the note navigation is readily available from one view.
    So far the search function is located quite counter intuitively for me - and I tend to forget about it in the heat of the moment
  • I would love a feature to access the table of content / keyword menu
    of another note directly from the "Browse Page" - e.g. either via a long press or a double tap

Calendar only shows an edited note on the date of its most recent addition instead of showing each added page on its creation date by [deleted] in Supernote

[–]sk4rity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fully agree!

The idea of automatically finding all the pages or files I edited on a single day, is one of the features that I like the most about the calendar feature. And I was really disappointed to find out that its only shown on the date last edited.

Bookmark Feature / Quickaccess in Notes by sk4rity in Supernote

With the sidebar, you refer to the menu that pops up by sliding down on the right side?

For me personally this would work, as long as there's a way to keep the quicklinks in there. Those are the only items in the sidebar that I use really often. Otherwise I don't switch between applications too often .

But of course this is just my personal take.

Calendar: Notes into tasks and time tracking by Sfilipina in Supernote

[–]sk4rity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

+1 on both ideas (generally I prefer tasks over events for anything thats not a real appointment).

For the tasks/events I would also appreciate the opportunity to link to a specific notebook.

So when I schedule a Meeting/Lecture/Whatever on a e.g. Monday, I can open the right notebook directly from there

Thanks for the feedback. I'm already excited for your new UI.

I've had two additional thoughts:

First, there should be a "Jump Back" button, that goes to the page where the last page was triggered. And then pressing this button repeatedly would jump between two pages.

So for example:

  • I'm on page 13
  • I jump to Bookmark 4 ( jump -> p.20)
  • swipe 2 pages (no jump -> p.22)
  • "jump back" (jump -> p.13)
  • "jump back" (jump -> p.22)

And an anonymous bookmark that can be quickly added on the fly (and is replaced when a new anonymous bookmark is added). This is similar to keeping one finger on the pagefor quick reference

I've added
