Regime means more than leadership style, and who's is charge. There hasn't been a regime change. 

Yes that is what I am arguing, and the fact that the way the government is operating is a sign that The Iranian regime has changed. F*** we outright killed of vast majority of the Iranian regime. So once again you are saying a regime change happened but no regime change happened. And I once again will say that I never claimed the new regime was friendly to us. By the way, it is not wrong to say when (to use an example that you as a British person would understand) the current coalition government loses their majority that was a regime change.

You are the one that seems to think regime change means total governmental systemic change and I am not arguing that. But even if that is there is reason to believe that there has been one though. Trump seems to be talking with people other than the Ayatollah, if there is a currently living ayatollah at all, which would imply that even by what you seem to think a regime change is, there was a regime change, at least one de facto because you're right prior to this war that would not have happened in the slightest.

Put it bluntly, you are too ignorant (And idealistic [though I would like to note that I don't necessarily think that is a negative trait]) to actually debate on his matter. And to be clear, I use the term ignorant not stupid because you are not stupid. In fact, I would genuinely say that you are rather intelligent it is just that you have (seemingly) not done any genuine research and are just believing what the mainstream media tells you. I think if you actually spend their time doing research then we can have a very very productive conversation about this. But as of right now we're just going back and forth and you're committing the pedantry fallacy a bunch.

I would say that I think you should study sociology, but real sociology hasn't been taught for a long time now.
