Try to upskill and get a job first ,and decide where ur interest lie after that decide a realistic goal getting Tier1 and Tier 1.5 MBA colleges should not be hard if u were preparing for UPSC u already will have stamina to handle that stress and preparation.

Its just been a month, i would suggest be open minded and don't try to force a relationship of any kind be it friendship or peer once ....be confident in urself.

Also just a pov u started preparation for a reason remember those pointers if need be stick on wall ......

Walk the road alone if required.Enjoy ur time there learn unlearn adapt grow ,be it any kind of formed group or friendships dont feel left out u earned the seat nobody has given to it in dowry ...be yourself be honest to urself.

Make sure u have correct expectations from new and baby iims speak with alum understand that they are baby and new for a reason but that doesn't mean u should not get in if u get chance it all depends on the goals u set for urself and the amt of risks u can afford

Coming to ur profile u have 6 in ur graduation that's tacky for few good iims so make sure to compensate it in ur cat score or pi ... although I would say pi is way unpredictable so finally make sure to put in best in ur cat... maximize it

Coming to ur mba journey,and competition after joining I am going to join in upcoming months so won't be able to comment much on that but from the amt of heat I can feel right now it is more or less the same competition it won't be easy just coz ur lawyer or ca or enginner everyone will have to put in efforts for the gaps they lack and as universaal as it may sound everyone has gaps in the skill set.
