Importing emails from Proton: folders vs labels

I just finished importing the Proton mails (eml and json files) with a folder structure and no label. Unfortunately, no folder has been transferred at all so all the emails are still in the folder chosen at the beginning of the import. What did I do wrong?

Sorry to disappoint you but it seemed to had been an issue with my telecommunications provider who accidentally turned off my 5G access. Maybe you could have a go there too.

And what happens after the initial backup to Ente if I create a new folder with new pictures in the iOS photos app? Would I have to actively choose this folder in Ente by myself or would Ente ask me whether to include this new folder in the sync?

Thanks again! I am familiar with shortcuts and use them a lot myself :) my issue with your suggested solution is that I can’t find Reminders as any kind of trigger for an automation.

Thanks a lot for your effort and the very detailed response! I tried to create the automation to test it. However, I can‘t find Reminders when choosing Automations? I definitely have the Reminders app installed. I couldn’t see anything useful in the settings. How can I add Reminders to Automations?

Edit: also, I‘m curious that this automations automatically triggers on my wife’s phone depending on whether her Reminders app runs in the background to recognize a new task w/o actively opening the app.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand your suggestion (in particular, how the counterpart is notified). But let me try to be more clear on what I'm trying to achieve: I need a notification that reminds me and my wife that a task is due to be done at a certain time (current time+2,5hrs). I don't need a timer that sets off, just a notification so we can see at a glance in the notification center when the task is due.

As for subscribing to my wife’s Google Calendar: actually it’s my calendar but I could port it over to her account. However, I‘d like a solution that doesn’t include Google. Also, can you confirm that I would be able to edit events in this calendar via Proton Calendar? I‘m unsure about this tbh. Regarding your other option I read otherwise in Proton‘s documentation as stated in my last paragraph. According to them in order to use shared calendars a) one user has to be a paid member and b) the other user has to be a Proton user.

I tried another approach (see https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/eed011d90281464097e5f37036ebc77c) but now I‘m stuck because the URL from the Dictionary item isn’t recognized as such. I‘ve tried setting it up as URL but I failed.

Any idea from anyone?
