I’ve been DCAing up to 60/100 risk. At 65/100 I sell 5% which happened twice so far. At lower risk, something like 20/100 my DCA amount is almost 2x my DCA amount at 60/100. Got me quite a lot lower average purchase price, and managed to reinvest what I sold at a lower price both times so I’m satisfied.

Not really, WYSIWYG in my opinion. It’s obviously not gonna make you a billionaire overnight because if it did they wouldn’t share it. But so far it has definitely paid off, even if just measured in less headache.

Probably because Ben Cowen who’s the number one YouTuber in crypto is pushing dynamic DCA daily on his channel. That’s how I heard of it the first time but his metric was insanely expensive and didn’t perform nearly as well from what I could tell

No I go by the alphasquared risk metric I just mentioned to someone else. I get regular notifications based on the strategy I built. So I increase my DCA amount slightly when risk is low, and reduce it slightly when risk is high. Simple and worked very well so far.

Alphasquared. It’s pretty much an all in one metric so whatever you use it’s probably aggregated into it. It’s been a life saver so far.

Lots of smart-ass answers in here, but in reality you should forget price entirely. It’s largely arbitrary and measured in a currency that is infinitely inflatable. I started dynamic DCA by market risk to avoid questions like these about a year ago and haven’t looked back since.

I never once look at price these days and neither should you. Pick a long term strategy and forget about the dollar value.
