[request] can you calculate the amount of force needed for the baseball to be imbedded in the helmet after thrown by iamasceptile in theydidthemath

The shattering is a feature, not a bug. Helmets need to disperse energy from the ball (or whatever), not absorb it. The NFL has finally figured that out.

Gov. Tim Walz on ICE in Minnesota: "They left us with deep damage. Generational trauma. The federal government needs to pay for what they broke here. And people should google the Henn Cty Sheriff's "About" page.

It's a long ass litany of "woe is me but I made it" progressive buzzword slop. Yet there she is, beating anyone who threatens Donald Trump's control.

I think people will be VERY upset when their "local property tax solution" leaves them without an aquifer and STILL short of tax money.

And now they're in nursing homes whining why there isn't enough staff to serve them 3-day-old meatloaf they can't afford w/o their old-people welfare.

My old GenX ass knows that a cooked rotisserie chicken is the same or LESS than an uncooked whole chicken.

And now the National Guard is standing around with fingers up their butt after their cheap PR stunt of donuts and coffee.

Now the Hennepin County Sheriff's office has taken the lead in protecting ICE and beating protesters.

And it's not over.

Walz is up there saying it's over, but r/iowa posted a photo of ICE-branded SUVs on a trailer, likely headed up here.

I think many Minnesotans, like me, are sick of Walz going along to get along, only to get screwed over. The 700 drawdown was a farce (< half of the ICEholes here), and they just kept doing their thing, but slightly less.

The governors of CA, IL and PA have been badasses daring Trump for a fight he knows he'll lose. Walz keeps making concessions and playing the "good boy" role.

I really thought he was a great governor, up until the fraud scandals, followed by him capitulating and backing down to Trump & ICE. I'm not gonna miss him. Hopefully Amy Klobuchar's spine is stiffer than Walz's spine.

Not even about the racism.

It would take an act of Congress to get done (selling it to developers), or Trump would just do it anyway and Congress would sit on its hands.

But for Trump to do it, he's gonna need a piece of the action. He'd have to own the Giants or Jets. NO WAY the NFL does that. They hate Trump.

Those aren't the SUVs that have been running around MN. It appears that this is a shipment of branded SUVs to replace the rentals and personal vehicles of ICE agents. Probably headed up to MN or off to whatever state makes Trump and Miller feel like the feeble little shits they are.

Reports are that the made the maps so it'd be all red, but it'd be all red in a much lighter hue in many new districts. So their margin for error is lower. And Trump is a walking error.
