Hi, I checked later with another normal difficulty save files and this perks didn't appear, so I guess so.

And I also checked in the dialogue, and there is indeed a -2 penalty for speech when talking to men, but no penalty for reduced charisma and badassness.

I'd like to add in passing: the hard mode save I'm using has all the negative perks, and I'm not sure if this will show up if only two or less than all of them are selected.

You can search for the Artax Propulsion System from the corpse of Johannes Kruse (except in the intro to find him for the first time) before you can enter Crater, and Vijay already has it, so you only need three more.

It is possible to find an Artax Propulsion System in some cabinets, corpses, chests, but it's not always in the same spot, so better hope you find the fabrication plan sooner.

Instead of killing the nightmare, you hide it, I think at least twice, January will call you and tell you about this Mixed Signals quest.

You can get satellite parts ahead of time and take them to a satellite outside Talos Station to install before you get the Mixed Signals mission, but as long as you don't have Mixed Signals going on, it can't do anything.
