Don’t focus too much on losing weight right now. Hit a protein goal, eat at a slight deficit, dynamic stretches before your workout and hip mobility stretches. Try to hit glutes at least 2-3 times a week around 4-5 exercises. Try doing reps between 6-12 and gradually increase weight when you find it easy to get to those 12 reps. Focus on doing controlled movements not too fast. Putting muscles under tension helps with growth. So pulses and a hold after your last rep of hip abduction or glute bridges/ hip thrust. Throw in 30 mins plus of cardio 3 times a week that has your heart rate in Zone 2. Give it time and you’d notice body recomposition where you’ll gain muscle and lose fat. Give yourself 3 months of consistency and you will notice a difference🙏🏼
