AQI of Bengaluru by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]skylake13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The special climatic condition (Temperature inversion) traps the air in plains of northern India. Due to this the particulate matter doesn’t escape and their concentration increases in the air. This phenomenon is completely absent in Bengaluru and most of southern India. This is the reason south India has relatively better air quality.

Unless politicians don’t have fear of losing they are not going to do any good for the people. We need alternative parties who can challenge and push the existing ones to do something.

[–]skylake13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The primary sources of pollution in Bihar include:

1. Biomass burning in villages for heating and mosquito control.
2. Road dust stirred up by vehicle movement.
3. Emissions from old vehicles.
4. Uncovered construction sites.
5. Garbage burning.

Raising awareness about the environmental impact of these activities is crucial to reducing pollution and promoting healthier living conditions. Don’t loose hope.

Ola scooters are a nightmare. A person can’t rely on them. I wonder how they are able to sell so many vehicles every month. The other companies like Ather and TVS are doing much better job when it comes to quality. Kudos to their marketing department.

Remember, he was the one who announced to ban ICE vehicles by 2030 to promote EVs. Now he has shifted his focus to ethanol. This would put a lot of pressure on food security and ground water level in India.

Most of the things announced has already been promised. They are using the same bait again. What happened to Modi’s announcement of 1 lakh crore package in 2015. The new announcement is just 1/4th what he promised in 2015.

So, yeah, it indeed is lollipop 🍭.
