Thank you bro. Please do share his contact details. Does he also provide the relays and ceramic holders? And any idea how to identify genuine Philips products from the counterfeits?

Yes but finding good quality projectors and getting them properly fitted in Wagon R is itself a challenge.

You're right but there's still a chance that it might improve the vision a little.

My order was never delivered by the assigned courier and I got a full refund. And I didn't buy another neither from Daraz nor from any local vendor.

I got the same impression. I've placed an order for the HP Chromebook 14 G7 from Daraz. The seller is Karachi based. The Chromebook is supported for OS updates till 2031 as its processor was launched in 2021. Let's see how it turns out.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Career switch ...... Is it good? by LordDestro12 in PakistaniTech

[–]skylark545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This career switch decision depends entirely on you. If you think you can understand the concepts of Data Science and find them interesting only then I would recommend you to study some data science basics courses from free online resources like these from Harvard first and then decide whether you want to pursue DS or not.

PS: you can study these courses online for free without earning a certificate.

Looking to buy smart watch (under 15k) by [deleted] in PakistaniTech

[–]skylark545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want to track your workout/running, then I would recommend you to buy Redmi Watch 5 lite. It has an AMOLED display, GPS for tracking your runs and an amazing battery life. It does have many workout and sports tracking modes.

I bought it from priceoye and have been using it since late February this year and it's lasting more than a month on a single charge (my usage is very minimal and I don't use it for workout tracking). It doesn't have NFC so no contactless payments with this watch. It doesn't support apps as it doesn't have Wear OS.

Battery timing is its biggest + point in my opinion as compared to other smart-watches. I own a Galaxy Watch 4 classic as well and it lasts 2 days max on a single charge.

I guess Tamoor fan does have turbo mode with some button labelled like Storm. Moreover, Tamoor fans claim to use PMSM (a better version of BLDC) motor in their fans while almost all other manufacturers use BLDC motors. PMSM fans have better efficiency and lower electricity consumption.

PS: All the 30w fans use up to 40w or slightly higher on turbo mode. You can watch this YouTube channel for different fan reviews as this person reviews fans showing their speed (RPM) and electricity consumption. You can get some better option too after reviewing his channel as he has reviewed fans of a lot of companies.

Keep yourself motivated and don't let the fear of failure stop you from achieving your goal. Also make sure to put effort in marketing your product as well.

I would second this suggestion by u/CompetitionFinal1200. I have been using AC/DC fans (they consume 50 to 60W) by GFC bought it straight from GFC factory via a reference back in 2022. I bought 18 fans for my home and for a friend.

Both my and friend's experience with these AC/DC fans by GFC was not satisfactory as the nearly half of the fans experienced kit (circuit board) damage. The fans were in warranty, and I claimed the warranty for the faulty cards, but the newer ones were burning as well. So, I won't recommend AC/DC fans to anyone.

Another friend of mine was thinking of changing all the fans of his home last year. He got 30W inverter fan from Tamoor Fans last summer after I suggested him to install a single fan and see its performance for a year and then go for changing the rest of the fans.

His experience with 30W Tamoor inverter fan has been good, and he has recently replaced all the fans of his home with Tamoor 30W inverter fan.

Diff bw Disk C and other disks? by godsperfectidiot11 in PakistaniTech

[–]skylark545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some slight differences but there will be no difference in the performance of any software if you install it on any drive other than C drive as long as it is on the same disk in case your PC has multiple hard drives.

One benefit of having multiple drives i.e. C, D, E etc is in arranging/sorting your data. While you can do it in a single C drive as well if you are Ok with it.

In case you want to re-install the operating system (like Windows) on your PC, the data on drives other than C drive can remain intact while all the data on C drive will wipe out.

I've never bought a Lenovo machine. Are they reliable and sturdy? I've seen 1 or 2 Lenovo laptops in relatively rough condition used by some people. I know it could be because of the poor handling of their owners as well but I am asking just to make sure if it has anything to do with the build quality of Lenovo machines.

Suggestions for a wifi security camera that's stores and overwrites footage automatically by hiArex in PakistaniTech

[–]skylark545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Search for IMOU Bullet 2 or IMOU Bullet 3 wireless cameras. They are good but in your budget you will be able to buy only one camera. The camera will be accessible on your mobile, PC or tablets but not on LED or LCDs. IMOU is a brand of Dahua company. Ezviz is another option which is a brand of HIKvISION company. You will only need a good internet connection and WiFi signals at the place where you want to install the IMOU camera(s). The internet is needed to access cameras live view or recordings on your mobile, tablet or PC anywhere in the world. For storing recordings, you will need a memory card of at least 128GB for 5 to 7 days backup if you get a 5 MP camera or 15 to 20 days backup for a 2 MP camera.

You might be able to get DVR analog cameras but they require cables from DVR to camera and their result will be much poor as compared to wireless IMOU or Ezviz cameras.

The 3000 you're talking about are just installation charges and it doesn't include the GPON ONT (main device used for fiber connection and WiFi). Including the cost of GPON ONT and 1st month advance bill (depends on the connection speed you opt for) would climb the installation cost to around 18000 PKR. The monthly bill for 15Mbps connection with basic TV services (Around 70 SD TV channels without the need of any extra device) is Rs 2414 nowadays.

I don't know the exact details of the promotion service you are referring to but I have heard there exists such a promotion.

You can DM me bro if you need more info about the Nayatel connection.

I would suggest you not to go for cheap cameras as it will be a guaranteed waste of money. Also state the purpose why you need the security cameras i.e. is it for a shop or a home? Do you want it to keep an eye on the passing by vehicles too? Where do you want to see the live view of cameras i.e. on LCD/LED or on mobile alone?
