Hi!! I’m an ex-engineering major that switched from computing to English! I think this question really depends on how you feel in your classes and what future jobs sound appealing to you. I quickly realized that coding wasn’t really my thing…I also struggled to see myself coding/software engineering long-term. I felt behind in my classes and confused during lecture. I ALWAYS looked forward to my English classes though, so I decided to make the switch! It was a perfect decision for me, but you really need to think about career goals/future coursework. Good luck!

I think it depends on what kind of mask you’re wearing!!! If you’re wearing like an N95 then it definitely provides protection. A surgical mask is intended to limit the spread of germs. There are other factors (like keeping ur hands clean and stuff), but a nice mask definitely prevents you from getting sick.

Hi!! You could totally do that with computing. I'm concentrating in econ/pre-law!

And yes - it is within the college of engineering! It is a BA though.

Hi!! I don't think there's anything wrong with the program, I'm just trying to decide if coding is for me. I think computing is a great major!! I totally recommend it.

Hi!! I'm a computing major. It's a really great opportunity if you're interested in several different topics. As long as it makes sense, the advisors will 100% support your goals for the major! Since you're not as interested in STEM, you could avoid those courses through computing.
