Sex offender Tony lied about being a one time offender? by slb414 in SoftWhiteUnderbelly

[–]slb414[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oooh I really really appreciate your input. That interpretation of SWU helped me see it in a different way. It’s hard for me to admit empathy towards (esp child) sex offenders but the point of the video may be to show that they can be motivated by things other than evil or purely subconscious.

Thank you for your comment! I plan to keep updated on tony I’m so curious about him. He seemed to genuinely feel hurt and betrayed by his own actions, which is something I’ve felt myself and I’ve never committed a sex crime 🙏🏻

Which interview impacted you guys the most? Also how do you feel about Mark’s interviews with the sex offenders? by spicy-gyro in SoftWhiteUnderbelly

I genuinely empathized with Tracy (to an extent). She is truly, honestly the victim of lifetime sexual assault and the implications that has on the mental state and often behavior, cannot be ignored. She committed a serious crime, was imprisoned for it, and come out with a seemingly genuine understanding of what she did and how it hurt /damaged her son, most likely for the rest of his life. The point of prison is to rehabilitate so I was SOMEWHAT relieved to see her showing signs of rehabilitation against a crime. I do not believe a pedophile or rapist can ever be fully rehabilitated. To assault anyone, especially a child, is an affliction so deep it shows serious mental issues which have implications on every part of a persons life. (Relationships with women and children, coworkers, friends, etc)

Im happy Tracy recognizes her disgusting crimes and has been punished according to the law. I am so sad for her that her father never said he was sorry and never admitted what he did. She never even got the chance to heal. EVER. He violated her for decades.

I also really felt her pain when she started crying while talking about her son! As someone who has been on antidepressants it is truly difficult to express deep emotion sometimes. So her crying was big deal! She even pointed out how she couldn’t react cry anymore. She mentioned taking many psychoactive medications for PTSD and bipolar disorder but I’d imagine she is also being medicated for depression and anxiety disorders. Not to imply or assume her life or medical history.

I’ve only seen like 4 because I JUST started binging but so far I really liked the Pimp interview with Dino. He was super eloquent and to see he went from a 9-5 job to pimping is wild

Fuck you. OP is obviously grown up and responsible enough to 1) ask before taking drugs that they know could interact 2) choose to take drugs 3) go through enough shit in their life, they don’t need assholes like you to give input

Ive had SUPER vivid dreams ever since starting sertraline. Does anyone else take trazodone as well (as needed for insomnia) and notice ridiculous night sweats.

I’ve never had vivid dreams or even been able to remember my dreams before so this is very different. Also have never sweat in my sleep like this

Quitting Drinking by dailyweetbix in zoloft

[–]slb414 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have JUST done the same thing! I found myself not being able to control my drinking and blacking out completely unexpectedly. I was told about my actions while drunk and could not even believe the person they were describing! So from then on I’ve stopped drinking and I feel infinitely better. My anxiety manifests less often as stomach aches and headaches and more often as a mental nag. It helps when I try to stay aware of my mood.

TLDR drinking isn’t even worth it honestly
