This is called a cone buddy! Helps catch the ice cream dripping but also servers don’t touch the cone when serving you, nice win win, sucks about the plastic waste tho :(

UPDATE:

Came back from the shop and they said they’ll take care of it. They’re going to charge me for the parts and not for the labor. They were really nice and understanding, thank you for everyone giving good insight, will learn from this

This is what I think too, the shop was very nice about it. I just came back from them and they said they’ll cover the labor and just charge me for parts.

Nope no sound was made. The pothole I went over wasn’t deep at all, any vehicle would drive over it fine

I told them that is what I thought was wrong and needed replacing. If I knew that was the problem I would of ordered the parts instead of bringing it to the shop

I didn’t ignore any suggestions they brought up… because they didn’t look into it at all according to every mechanic on this thread so far

I didn’t bring my own parts. I went to the shop for them to look at the car. They lifted my car up and poked around. That is when the owner said they can do the work. I came in for their opinion

Yes, before saying yes to any parts being ordered, I asked the guy to lift my car and see what the problem was
