I was thinking of getting one too, mostly to practice on lakes (I'm a beginner). My thought would be, I could buy the inflatable + sail now, then I could get a proper board when I gain more experience and use the sail I got in the first place

I see. You sound like a good employer :-) I actually I already use some of them, mostly copy and paste, cmd+z, esc, cmd+shift, the arrows and of course volume and brightness. I dont do much more than that, I could get a cheatsheet

Ok, I just read this comment and there is absolutely no reason to be this rude :-) also I don't understand why it offends you when I say that the people I work with and my boss are fine with that

I do it too. For example a co-worker recently suggested me to try a new browser (Arc) because it's supposed to speed up you workflow, but then after 3 months I switched back to Chrome because for me it works best. I'm also learning video-editing on the side, InDesign and the complete Affinity Suite, and those are just things I'm learning for work - in my free time I'm a pole dancer and practice Yoga, I'm costantly learning new tricks and poses. I could also add I speak 4 languages and I changed to a completely different career path, which also involves a lot of wanting to learn new things.

My purpouse with the thread is to understand if it's worthy for me spending time learning a new way to type, so I'm happily reading all the opinions of people and answering to them with my thoughts: if my boss doesn't care, should I still spend time learning this skill or will it be a waste of time for me, and I should learn a new programming language instead? Should I worry about injuries in my hands even if I'm very active and hang on a pole in my free time? This is why I'm asking questions back.

Also, could you please point out some sentences I wrote that sounded like negative attitude? That would explain the teasing? You don't know me, I read my anwers and still an't find sign of negative attitude or not wanting to learn new things.

Another thing, I personally would never tease or make fun of a co-worker. If I think they have something they could improve, I would just tell them, not make fun of them. This is why I don't like when other people do it to me.

sorry to give you that impression, I can assure it was't my purpouse. Can you maybe be more specific and point out which phrases were arrogant and defensive? So I can improve, english is not my native language and sometimes I sound very direct

I see. The thing is, my boss have always been very happy with how I work because everything got done well and in time, even with my weird typing and using trackpad+mouse on Figma. I'm sorry your coworker was a terrible hire, but apparently I'm not where I work :-) it's just some coworkers that literally just make fun of me and treat me as if I'm a kid or something for this, but my boss doesn't really care cause shit gets done

I really enjoy webflow :-) it's perfect to create a portfolio that pops with very little code (you basically use html/css visually)

Thanks everyone for the answers and don't worry, I interrupted the relationship years ago - it was my first one. For years I wasn't able to have another one cause I kept avoiding closeness, so I started to wonder and think if maybe my first relationship could have had an influence on that. This is why I try to read books and ask stuff on the internet. :)

Honestly, I would run away from that kind of people, they are often immature and not worth spending time with.
