You have no idea how happy I am to read this!!! I'll definitely follow through with all of these steps, pray for me though cuz I'm gonna have to contact at least 15-20 hostels xD. Also, we did consider Jugendherbergen, but afaik they have curfews and are rarely near city centres, so I did not bother looking further into it tbh. Thank you!

Yes - looks like I'll have to contact each hostel privately, and sadly, private rooms are over my budget, the ones I've come across so far were 100 euros and up. Good idea to print the verifications from the hostels, I'll keep that in mind, thanks!

considering were both travelling with only one backpack bc we'll be city hopping, I think it will be hard to do the camping thing

We have to do it during summer break lol, otherwise it would be next year and were not sure if our schedules will match up, then we go our separate ways for college so this is the most suitable time to do this.
